Third Person in Competitive Counter-Strike

CS:GO is a FPS, but what if it was a Fortnite and did the over-the-shoulder third person view? We played pugs to find out! Spoilers: it's a dumb idea.
This is my custom made config for third person csgo to give the best balance between visibility and crosshair accuracy. WARNING: X will be rebound. The X key is used to switch which shoulder you are looking over. sv_cheats must be enabled for this to work.

@@Jawn1337 you know, i've always wondered if video game cheaters, through some corrupted world view, have resolved, for the most part, that they're smarter and/or better than players that don't cheat, as opposed to being self-aware that they're merely exploiting mechanics to gain an unfair advantage, which other players don't do because they'd rather prove they're simply better at the game than someone else through actually being better at the game. (not all people, broad strokes here). I imagine it's more realistically a spectrum of script kiddies who think they've uncovered some transcended world when they first get into cheating, giving them this misguided arrogance about the true state of players, etc with the other end being people who merely like to tinker with things, using their hobby to provide some entertainment at other's expense. To be clear, i'm not particularly bashing cheaters, as humans will always fall into their designated place on the curve and cheaters are merely a part of that, I'm more just curious about this strange sense of unfounded pride you see sometimes from them. For example, this statement, "hes to dumb to know what hvh is" is a pretty silly one. Is it required to be smart to know what hvh is? Perhaps you think video game players are separated into two categories: smart and dumb, those catagories being analogous to cheaters and non-cheaters, respectively. You could also look at vitalityz "he will cry". I assume this type of statement is probably coming from someone less mentally mature, but, if not, then it's certainly interesting to see this strange spitefulness in relation to the nature of cheaters vs non-cheaters. It almost reminds me of the dynamic between the rich and poor of the world, with non-cheaters as the rich, and cheaters as the poor. Not to specifically insult cheaters, it just seems that the mindset is very similar: rich are dumb, naive, they do not deserve their money; i do not care how people see me, i live life how i want to. And then of course the rich are generally the way they are because they have the exact opposite values. I suppose what gets me the most about it is to see this common core characteristic of human nature, which is this lack of foresight and spitefulness in relation to others possessions, despite whatever efforts were expended to obtain those possessions, extend into something so benign as playing video games. Even in this area, human nature exerts itself and you end up with this strange dichotomy of "cheaters" who, similar to the poor, are painfully unaware of themselves, which i suppose is what perpetuates this aspect of human nature in the first place. Certainly interesting. done rambling
