I can't believe you're nearly there guys! it feels like so long ago but just yesterday that baby boy was announced! I am sooo excited to see his little face, I rly hope the hospital allows you to film. Even if you never show the internet, it's such a special memory to look back on when you first get to hold your first baby

I actually laughed out loud when Con compared labor to a horror movie. When I was young - like 7 - my older brother, my neighbour and I got really into watching horror movies so we'd sneak them to watch together and one day he was like 'this is the scariest thing you'll ever see' and it was a video of his older sister giving birth 🤣

I agree with Con that anxiety can prevent people from doing things & allowing themselves to show their full potential sometimes (myself included.) Having known that I'm sure you both will work really hard to let baby Swift know you'll always have his back no matter what and be there to help him overcome it should he encounter anxiety in his life. I absolutely love the body positivity here. In my first pregnancy I was always made to feel really rubbish about my bump because I didn't show until later on, and then in my second pregnancy everyone was questioning if I had more than one baby in there because I was big so quickly. My kids ... All I wanted for them is no regrets. If they want it, then give it their best effort. The outcome isnt as important. Failure is ok, you can try again. But regrets that you could have done better if you had put more effort in or not given up, are the hardest to live with. I always told them you can do anything, and I will help in every way I can. But I cant do it for you. I raised 2 incredible kids who are responsible kind caring adults, and they never give up on themselves.

its actually super important to be able to advocate for yourself during labour if you need to! you will not be able to do this if you have no clue and anything that's going on 🥲 i had the most horrendous 1st birth with so many UNNECESSARY interventions with the NHS. Although I had an apology i feel robbed of an experience that should of been beautiful. Know the risks of everything and arm your self with knowledge and it may come in very handy! Best of luck to you both 💛
