I still think this was the coolest aesthetic/ time period of COD. Something about the cold war era just gets me. I love the slightly more modern weapons as WW2 with the first integration of electronics. The maps that take you between the 60's america, wintery soviet russia or tropical vietnam. It also had some of the most banger DLC maps in the series but sadly these were rarely played online. Part is offcourse nostalgia, but there was also a quality and care to the visual storytelling in both campaing and multiplayer that I feel COD lacks nowadays.

It also had the little RCXD tunnels that would lead you outside the map that most of the time weren't even that good for flanking, but where just there for fun. We need more map design like that.

BO1 is goated. The multiplayer was so good, and the lobbies are kinda stable now. I think the thing I love the most about BO1 MP is the fact that you can have so much stuff in one class. Everyone gets a primary, secondary, lethal, tactical, equipment, and 3 perks. Plus, you could choose what face paint you have. Customization was crazy good. The class I would runwith was the kipiris with extended mags and fore grip, crossbow, semtex, flashbangs, C4, scavenger, warlord, and tactical mask. I had so much ammo I could just keep spamming nades and prefiring and still have plenty of ammo because of scavenger

I had every call of duty until ghosts. Black ops 2 was the best out of any call of duty made! The emblem making I spent hours making different cartoon characters, the classes, guns, maps, zombies was just pure class! COD4 was another classic, but an under rated one was Mw3, the memories 😢sadly cod hasn't been the same since!

Black Ops 1 & 2 were the shit. BO2 is the only COD were I did all the levels of Prestige. Last console COD I played was Advanced Warfare on 360. But I'm having a good enough time on COD Mobile, I play with a Xbox controller, tho. Ten point system in BO2 is unbeaten.
