It will take some time, decade or more but she probable wont live to be 50. Dont know how old she was at this point but i wouldnt give her more than 10 years max.

Wilson was the only one left in Houses life that he actually valued. Its implied that House was planning on killing himself once Wilson died.

I think that the most particular diference between House and Thirteen was the fact that Thirtheen was still trying to not be miserable and still had hope to do that, thats something that House saw and thats the reason why he fired her because he knew that she could acomplished that.

He always had a heart. He's often went out of his way to help patients and colleagues, to bring back happiness in their lives. In the process, to avoid himself from getting the side effects he makes sure he appears a cold hearted jerk to everyone. He's afraid to be happy. Thirteen is one of the very few people to understand this behaviour of House. Even Cuddy didn't understand it. Not even Stacy. Wilson maybe. And a handful of patients.

I always pictured one last scene. Yeaaars later, after Wilson passed and 13's disease got worst. Night. Hospital room. Machine monitors. Remy connected to them w/ uncontrollable twitches. Tries to grab a glass of water and spills on the floor. Frustration and tears. Limping janitor walks in. Sarcastic comment. 13's eyes widen in disbelief. One last 10min conversation, he kisses her in the forehead, one last goodbye between them before he kills her w/ morphine. A girl can dream.

Same scenario, I would have liked to see a heart felt kiss between House and Thirteen, he slowly backs up to her I.V. and with an out of character empathetic look quietly says "I said I'd never let you suffer". With an injection to her I.V. she begins to drift off, her last words "somehow I knew you'd be good to your word"

I like to think she went to Greece with her gf and volunteered to work for the local hospital, working on the hard cases no one else could cure. They would give her a cool Greek nickname. She would save many lives. They would bury her like royalty when she died so young and always remember her as a local hero. I always thought she was the best of House's team. He always respected her. That was a rare thing from House.

The framing of the shot at 7:17 is so telling. Both in opposite ends of it. House shunned at the bottom corner, like he drowning. And 13 leaving the frame in the upper corner, taking off. Going to enjoy and live her life w/ the woman she loves. He gave her something he couldn't give himself.

For House, everything was an easy target. Everything was an open book to him with his talent of reading people, but Thirteen was always dynamic. She's always been a flux for House that's why she's the only friend he got except Wilson and Cuddy.

The thing I love about this seen is Remy(13) realizing that house is literally giving her permission to be happy he is telling her that it’s okay to just want to enjoy your life. He says so much with two words, the subtext in the lines between these two is incredible.

The relationship between these two was the best in the entire series, IMHO. Even better than House and Wilson. Just great character development and journey of their relationships. Complexity and emotion. She was the daughter that House never had, and he truly loved her. This was one of the hardest decisions that he ever made because he really did want her there with him, but knew he'd be keeping her from true happiness and life fulfillment by doing so. He made a sacrifice and made the hard choice. The separation of these two characters impacted me the most as the series drew down to the end.

I think that there were several different relationships that were great for different reasons. Thirteen and house was definitely the most interesting, equal and loving relationship. House and Wilson was the strongest friendship bond, though predictable a lot of the time definitely the most fun. House and chase had the best mentor/apprentice dynamic, and the arc of chase becoming houses replacement actually started really early on. I loved watching that play out too

In fact, just moving on from my point about chase. I think the writers even foreshadowed it in the pilot - the patient is refusing treatment without proof and it’s chase that suggests the alternative method of proving it. Perhaps a coincidence - but really nice theory if it is true

I'm a pediatrician who had to quit because I had a child with learning disability and as an immigrant I had to pass all the exams and internship again and had no help at the time. The most difficult thing is to live with it but without it at the same time. Because of my training I was able to safe my child life and now I 'm raising two beautiful girls. I was able to literally save my own life at one point because of my abilities as a MD. So I have a lot to be grateful for. But my last patient's parent's words are with me for my whole life: "How you can quit knowing that you CAN save lives?"

The actress that plays "13" or Remy Olivia Wilde reminds me of a charismatic actress of the 50s and 60s her name was "Susan Oliver" but has the bluest eyes ever and was in Star Trek but there is something about both Olivia and Susan the shape of the eyes or their disposition that is quite amazing. Unfortunately, Susan Oliver died of Cancer around her 50s and did things her way and learned to fly a plane after an almost fatal crash. She was an incredible actress and very much her own person.
