Trains have begun updating their boards-Kerala Sampark Kranti is the first train to have that.

Ekm to Srr section needs a speed upgrade, trains mostly crawl at 80-85kmph, mostly owing to the Wadakkanchery Ghat section and the increased number of curves

A speed upgrade on that route is not possible. The new 3rd/4th line will be a high speed line. Note that the Ernakulam-Shoranur route is fit for 80kmph - trains do NOT exceed this speed for any reason.

The train seems to run faster from thrissur to Shornur than from eranamkulam to thrissur. Can you say the maximum speed limit of Eranakulam to Aluva and Aluva to Thrissur?
