The best tip that I got a few years ago was "start building your community first" and by that, start joining a few other communities that have the same passion as you and get to know them. I've made and met many wonderful friends over the past 2-3 years and when I finally decided to start streaming, I asked them if it was something that they would like to watch. They all said yes so I pulled the trigger and made affiliate in under a month. You can pick one game that you really like and only want to play but you have to find that support first to be successful unless you are just amazing at the game or super relatable to everyone!

Hey Cpaws. Watched your video on how to setup my mic in OBS. Worked for awhile and now my mic doesnt pickup anything other than a static noise. It doesnt detect my voice at all anymore. Its like my community only want to see that 1 specific game. I've been streaming it now for 1 year and a few months (on and off). It gets tiring because the game can become toxic and very competitive, plus personal😂😂😂So, do you think I must still stick to the very same game that they like to watch, or should I experiment and switch to another game???
