Liron, Just discovered your series and it is terrific, so I have subscribed! In watching this video recommending taller antennas, I am mystified as to how to apply this knowledge to my Eero 6 mesh system which I purchased a few months ago, and as you know the Eero base unit and the Eero extender have no visible antennas and any hidden inside the small units are no doubt very small. Is there a way to apply your advice to these units and, if so how? The ISP's modem is stuck in a spare room at the very front exterior of our house, so that's where I was obliged to connect the base unit, but I want to stop wasting signal going out the front wall and point it inward of course, as well as towards the backyard where we have security cameras on the wifi. We have altogether about 40 wifi home automation devices pls the usual laptops, etc. and a TV which we watch only an hour or two a day. Thanks in advance for your superb advice!

if your router doesnt have an external antenna of course there isnt much you can do. Try positioning it in the middle of the property and then use a WiFi Analyzer app that shows you the signal strength. Try it vertically and then horizontally and see what works for your property.

Hey man what 3rd party would you recommend? I have an archer c7 so I've currently got 5dbi antenna x3, Considering trying to double it, I have an expander halfway through the house, a tplink router that came with our fiber line, but still have a small drop now and then, nothing serious - but why not try push the range to slightly enhance huh?

haha sounds like a serious setup. These are pretty "simple" things which is why I went with the cheapest I could find. These should work for you just check your router's documents to make sure (you never know whats in there....)

@@LironSegev yeah man I've seen some for 100 bucks others for a few hundred. Rereading my comment sounds over complicated. Let me rephrase, 1xc7 archer router, 1xtplin router being uses as an expander. But the house is quite large so I was thinking instead of running this hole system the way I am expanding it with higher gain antennas so it's 'idling' is running well. Was keen to just maximise and optimise. And found your content highly informative through the channel thanks man

Is there anyway to crack the passwords without a finger pointing to me. As it only the white people who have the passwords.

And the worst part is our company/reserve is in such a remote area that Breedenet is our only ISP and they only catered for the business and not privately, i have enquire and got qoutes from alot of companies but we are simply just to far. I have been able to get a quote from a company that does satellite internet but they are way above what I can afford. So im stuck with this 100kb/s speed trying to play COD MW Warzone which is almost impossible. I have fairly decent internet even good internet at most times but ive been having an issue when one of my family members phone is connected to the internet my ping will be 1500+ and the internets not usable at all but once they disconnect the internets back to normal and i was wondering if you have any idea whats happening and how to fix it Edit the phones an samsung galaxy s10 if that helps

hmm it does depend on your home's layout...make sure its getting the full signal from your main WiFi router. You might find that it may be the issue?

Liron Segev hi hope everything is well i have now got the same network bt router to my extender and my speed from router between 39 to 42 mbps and its the same speed on extender iam using ipad and router and extender are quite close together and have all lights on guess im doing something wrong cheers
