25 years ago is when I saw this in Walmart showcase in the US along with Casio WS-300H. After a lot of deliberations ), my colleague got the TIMEX and I got the Casio which I still have. 25 years later, I Finally I bought it on Swiss Time House a few weeks ago !

3:20 for American varient it has no cuts in the left corner but for developing nations there is a cut in price as well as design not all can be given for less prices by the way we Indians are the only people who can buy branded watches like this for ultra cheap rate in other countries the rate of this watch would climb above 50$ and strictly no discount if you need it buy it if not get out that's the line for those areas.... Be Lucky indian people i have noticed even Casio watches and other great brands watches are also available on e commerce sites with High discounted prices.... We are lucky because of our mentality if the price is High we don't buy anything and that mind set leads to the price cuts and discounts by these companies..... Always go with this mindset of money spending culture then we can enjoy good stuffs for less price...and last thing to remember kick outside those plastic chinese smartwatches which is nothing infront of these machines the aura these watches creates once you wear is of Higher level buy real watches not 💩 watches with touch screen if needed make it as secondary option only

Yes I agree with your thoughts. High end horology brands like AP and Patek didn’t want to enter the Indian market due to this reason.
