Great video and as a middle aged guy i completely agree that even if i could afford the m4, the performance diesel is a better choice for me and is genuinely more than enough car on UK roads. This is the best diesel engine you can get, twin turbo six, massive torque and solid power from factory. 👌 Agree totally the MPG is great, Tax is low, insurance isn't high. The only downside is you can't rev it up high and it doesn't sound as good as petrol straight six turbos such as the B58.

re the brakes, They are good especially as BMW have a reputation for weak brakes on fast cars , my z3 2.8 I cooked them quickly as did my e46 m3. I have a e92 335d why people bother to remap them is beyond me!
@Ev_Adventures20244 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing I’ve had mine nearly 3 years and only got it remapped last month. The remap makes an amazing car a spectacular car. Driving my normal 50 mile commute every day my average mpg went from 37mpg to 42mpg. Overtaking no longer needs manual mode just leave it in drive. Then when you want some fun the way it pulls is something else. The power delivery is even smoother and as long as you drive with some mechanical sympathy you won’t break anything.
@00Seven10003 жыл бұрын
Sound advice. I've never understood why people remap a 335d (especially the reviewed version here) it just doesn't need it. If you really need something faster than this then just buy a faster car. The balance of this car is pretty much perfect if you get one with the adaptive dampers option.....oh, and best package is a Touring :-)
