Love that he hasn't gone crazy chasing horsepower, and kept it at a useable level. I believe 350-400 HP is the sweet spot on front wheel drive cars.

I have a Unitronic stage 2+ K04 mk5 GTI in the states. Can confirm it’s more than enough power. According to the dyno graph the off the shelf tune puts out 341 crank and 349tq. More than enough to have fun

Literally love everything about it, except this style of widebody on the mk5 chassis i feel it just doesn't go together IMO. The OEM arches/ quarters already have great body lines, and it would be better suited to just add metal and 'pull the arches.' I have done similar stuff both in a body shop, and for private customers. Again, my opinion, its not my car. The cage looks great especially, and it sounds excellent. Gotta love the Quaife LSD too 👍

All that fluttering in the beginning, was it effecting the acceleration? Lije was it stalling/hiccuping at the "beat" of the flutter? Mine seems to do that on upshifts, accelerating after slowing/stopping and driving uphill and i have been trying to figure it out for a few years. It only got worse with k04

That's a nice power range for the mk5 GTI. Allows the tyres to grip onto the road. Keep it at that level. I believe if you push for more power it''ll ruin the drive for your build.
