I bought an S3 8Y black edition, which was in the show room, about 4 months ago - lots of bells and whistles added as it was for the show room, but still not a patch on how Jason's looks. Once it's past its warranty period I will be getting in touch with you. Would love to get my car tuned like yours for sure.

It's a 50 50 split but on the rs3 8y it's still a 50 50 split but 100% of that can be distributed to either wheel

Its 100% of the 50% on a single back wheel (total 50% of crankshaft output to rear axle)

@@jackhavard2312 I had the Golf 8R. It can only send upto 50% power to the rear wheels and then the rear axle can send Upto 100% of that power to either wheel at the rear. 👍. It's a great system.

@@welshmonsterhunter7028 main things are the engine (2.5 5 cylinder 400hp compared to 2.0 4 cylinder 300hp) and the differential on the rear axle. There’s other little bits and pieces but that’s the main differences

I think the S3 is a underrated sleeper car. 300hp with 2.0 engine. Easy and cheap to maintenance. It’s doesn’t get much love because of it bigger brother RS3 and the cheaper alternatives golf R

Correction, Haldex system sends 50% of the power to the read wheels and locks the differential as one fixed unit. The new system on the RS3 and Golf R sends 50% to the rear and of that 50 can send 100% to one wheel. None of the systems, new or old, sends more than 50% to the rear at any time. Improvements are in reaction time and power distribution. * Sick build, stay safe*

In all honesty though, if you're gonna invest that much into the car, why not start off with the RS3 over the S3? I just got an S3 a couple of days back myself and i absolutely love it, but the reason i got an S3 is because the extra money for an RS3 is just too steep, and not really worth it imho. But you've clearly gone all out with the mods and spent quite a bit of extra cash, so honestly, why not just start off with the RS3, get the 5 cylinder engine, and take it from there?
