I personally wouldn't bios flash the 5700. It bumps up the voltage and power draw too much for my liking. I just overclock and undervolt it. From my experience the performance difference between a bios flashed 5700 vs a 5700 with undervolt + OC is negligible but there is a 50watt power draw difference. Not worth shortening the lifespan of the card.

Hey! I really enjoy watching your videos. Recently bought my own gaming PC, and some of your videos really helped, especially for my power supply choice! I went with the Ryzen 5 7600 for around €185, and the Radeon RX 6650XT for around €240, along with 32GB of DDR5 RAM clocked at 6000 MT/s for around €100. The total build price was around €930 (Europe is definitely more expensive for PC parts than the US) I went with AM5 to make upgrading easier in the long run, hopefully the 9800X3D or the new 10000/11000 series are going to be a good upgrade in the future. I do have a question: have you stopped benchmarking RUST for these PCs? I play this game regularly, and it really helped to see these benchmarks in previous episodes, regarding a GPU choice.

I'd probably go for Xeon X79/X99 (some of the chips are dead cheap) for this budget, along with either 5700 or 1080ti for two reasons: insane overclocking potential of the CPU and quad channel memory 🤷🏻♂️ Otherwise, ONLY for non-overclockers.. Yeah, why not?

Hi, Just putting this question out there. My current setup is a Ryzen 5 3600 with a RTX 3060 Ti, 850W PSU and the stock cooler (pretty similar to what is in this video) Was thinking of upgrading to AM5 (hopefully the 7600X3D combo from Microcenter) - but not sure if I should be shelling out the cash to make that upgrade. I do light gaming (Genshin or Fortnite, with LD player, Discord and maybe VLC running in parallel), so not sure if an upgrade is really required or if I should just upgrade my cooling setup with more fans and a tower cooler.

Hello Zach, I have a small question if you don't mind. Do you think the RX 5700 XT MSI Mech OC is better than the RX 5700 XT 50th Anniversary Edition in terms of cooling/performance, or do they perform exactly the same? To be fair, I love the golden colors more on the reference version. I am looking to pair one of those with my new PC and was very happy to get notified of this video and have reassurance that this GPU still holds very well as a budget, yet powerful option.
