GREAT INTERVIEW!! Winz is definitely inspirational. I have 70 years and I am a small town farm boy from Iowa who lives in Portugal with the love of his life - whom I married at 65. We moved for the adventure and experience. About 15 years ago when I was at an extremely low point after significant emotional losses, I changed my mindset. “I am Happy, Healthy, Wealthy and Wise,” became my mantra. Constantly! Today I am all of these. And I am better emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually than I have ever been in my life! “What else is possible?!?” 🎉 Don’t just exist. Live life like Winz!!

It's great advice. When I believed myself and took it slow, I was able to create a tutoring company with over 100 kids and 3 locations in Guangzhou, China. It wasn't so much COVID that broke it, but letting my wife buy a house, knowing that it wouldn't bring us happiness. If I had seen this video earlier, perhaps I would have chosen happiness, which does indeed lead to lasting success.

I'm now in Sevilla and while it's beautiful, the city in China is where I belong. I'm going back as soon as possible. I'm super grateful of this chance to come to Sevilla because I'm continuing my teaching career after a year out, so here's to a year in Sevilla before I return back to my old city. This man’s mindset and viewpoint explains exactly what is wrong with some people. It’s their pessimistic MINDSET. He obviously has an optimistic view on life. Some people haven’t freed their minds from the pessimistic negatives in life(in general) instead of being optimistic, setting goals and working to achieve their goals. Too much negativity and focus on blaming others and having ‘but’ excuses. They CHOOSE to complain instead of taking an active role in their own lives to improve their future. There biggest problem is not anyone else except the person looking back at them in the mirror. A person’s pessimistic views on life is primarily what is holding them back from achieving their goals. Change your mindset, change your life. Why aren’t the pessimists not enjoying some successes in their lives? Let them tell us. This man found his passion and is happy having achieved his goals and is healthy for his age and living well. It’s like he found the key to personal happiness. Having an optimistic mindset while living in this world of all kinds of crazy can be challenging and intimidating but to achieve any worthy goals in life it’s necessary to be focused and determined to overcome challenges no matter what. An optimistic mindset is obviously key to obtaining any goals to being successful. A positive mindset is needed to achieve even what seems like far fetched dreams. How is your mindset? Pessimistic. Optimistic.❤️

@monicagomez4616
@monicagomez4616 2 күн бұрын
@@planetwalker798 It was not my intention to get deeper than encouraging those with a pessimistic mindset to change it to an optimistic mindset to their own benefit. Obviously a person who has mentally and physically limitations may not be able to achieve certain goals and be a success. I understand that, nevertheless my commentary is simply to highlight what a great difference having a positive mindset can make in a person’s life in general. And if there is nothing to limit a person from achieving their goals in life but they themselves, oftentimes it’s mindset issue. Hence my reference to the person in the mirror. It’s in my nature to encourage and motivate people to have an optimistic view of the life they have and make something worthy of it.❤️

I really needed this. I enjoyed life in my 20s, but worked extremely hard so I can enjoy the fruits of my labor by 35. Year 35 started out with me traveling to several new countries, enjoying the fruits of my labor, and being in the best physical shape I've even been in. Less than a year later, my mental health took a very weird turn that I didn't see coming. Outside of a bad relationship, I didn't experience any real trauma. This mental health decline paused my travel goals (Brazil, Europe) for 2024, but thank GOD for therapy, mountain biking, and being around better people I am ready to hit the skies again in 2025. Ironically, Japan is my bucket list place to see, and I can't wait! I'm back playing again and just learning to live more in the present, and only focusing on having positive people around me.

Most people want a relationship, family, and security when they're older. That really isn't compatible with living abroad and going wherever the wind blows. @@nerigarcia7116 I hear you. I raised 3 kids as single Mom. Now, almost 70 taking care of my Mom. I can't leave her to even take a 15 minute walk. So to soothe my loss I eat ice cream, and mourn. Recently, I reminded myself why I chose this path! I love my Mom!! I didn't quit living my dreams because I was tied down. I quit enjoying the dream I was living! To walk through these years of her life, of my life together! What a blessing! So many things I have learned, ways that I have grown on this path! I am grateful to be here! Whatever else, that I could be doing... will never hold a candle to the love I share with my Mama! Thank you Lord for your love and patience with me! And thank you for being able to live in a house with 2 sets of stairs for me to climb!! God is good! Just because there's "more" out there, doesn't mean that the best isn't right here!!

Was thinking the same thing, would be interesting to know if he has any other responsibilities besides himself, like elderly parents to see about etc...I imagine I could be very positive and happy everyday if I, me and myself was my only thought 🤔

Its important to live in the proper season of your Life. And this really does require slowing down. Also i notice he has a Japanese accent which is so cool. Cheers to anyone pushing a dream in their 60s🎉😊❤

Wonderful interview! The enthusiasm of the people of Japan I’m sure has helped his journey. My experience there was that they loved & embraced aspects of our culture, while strictly protecting their culture which I highly respect. Thank you!

As I approach 60 myself, I have respect for my age, but I have also realized that you are FAR FROM BEING DEAD and as long as you keep the dream alive, you can still live it

Mary, you might have another 40+ years to go. That's more time than a lot of people have in the entirety of their lives. The dreams are just different now, right? If your dream is to see the world, or to be a homebody and have a beautiful rose garden to host a few close friends, then it's all good.
@marydevonshire4655
@marydevonshire4655 8 күн бұрын
@@jm7804 I dunno if the dreams are different, it's just that they methods and means to getting there are modified. I still look and feel young. I'm with our volunteer fire department and still working on growing my career. At my age, I might not be the first one through the door, but I still have big roles at the scene. In a few years I'll be relegated to admin only but it's still part of the life I love. The rose garden sounds great, too, however! I actually can't wait for that stage, I'm getting ready for that, too.

Negative and positive is not exclusive of each other’s, there are apart of the whole. Success and failure are similar, life is journey with ebb and flow and not a destination. Live you life, do the best you can and try and have no regrets.

Agree. I’ve come to see “failure” as stepping stones and learning. Success is a perception - which often comes from learning (“mistakes”).

Yes......negative/positive....good/bad.....right/wrong......😊😊 Called duality. To think all the time positiv.....to be all the time good.....to act all the time right..... A lot controll. Controll is stressfull to me. 😊😊😊
