That Collard piano is from my heritage. My maternal grandfather's name was Robert Alexis James Collard and he was a piano maker. He came from Yorkshire. His family were originally from London. He met and married my maternal grandmother in CapeTown, South Africa. He had left the UK for good. So my mother's surname was Collard. I am fascinated that there, in a time capsule is a piece of my maternal heritage. Fascinating.

This house has only been empty since around 2008.the family that owned the farm & house consisted of mother and father,3 boys and a girl- ‘Margaret’ tragically one of the boys died in an accident in the 1960’s when he fell down the open well at the back.I think it was then covered.or made safe.when the parents had passed away and Margaret had moved out,the 2 remaining brothers lived at the farm, one passed in the late 80s I think, and the other left in 2008, although I don’t know if he died or went into a home or something.Margaret still tends to livestock in the fields behind the farm to this day.& she can often be seen driving up the lane to the house in her freelander Land Rover.where she parks to tend to the cows when they are kept in the field.other farmers use the land for storage so their is always someone up there.the land is not abandoned so please be respectful if you come across this place explorers✌️

@@AdamMark the covered equipment in the fairly modern shed and the fresh bales of hay were a huge giveaway to me as a farm owner. The one tractor was a Ferguson. The tractors would have been there for many, many years. Perhaps to be used for spare parts as I have a number of the same.

Rewatched: I have to say, I love Margaret! The old gal was a "renegade" as you called her, Adam. I this the dark suit coats may have been part of a horse riding outfit. Hi - great find - luv when you 2 explore! 2 pianos?! wow. It was a pump organ in the room with all the books - you have to pump both pedals back and forth to have sound. Can tell it's an organ by the 'stops' the little knobs you pull out to get different sounds. The small 'white things' you picked up after saw the model plane mag was elastic. Did you realize after you saw the egg and poo you forgot to look in wardrobe?! And yes you need gloves! stay safe.

Cool Marconi stereo cabinet. As happens a lot, husband & wife have passed with no heirs. Or maybe heirs want nothing to do with property. Maybe heirs sold property to local farmer. I think Margaret had a son, that was who was building the model planes, that was definitely a kids room, with the Snoopy Red Baron kids table. Also find it hard to believe that Margaret would have been studying Excel in her 70's, if she was, she was AWESOME! Based on the Glenn Miller record, she was most likely born in the 1920's I would think. That was a lot of farm equipment, so it was at one time a working and profitable farm. They should get that land into the hands of a working farm family. Thanks for the exploration!

Wow this was really cool! Loved it all...especially the model airplanes. My husband loves to fly model planes, he would have given anything to have a look at the plans you found, The trackers were wicked! I know this comment is two years too late, but loved Lisa going on your trips. You guys were so funny together!

That was a great explore, you could have put a light on in the kitchen and scullery as I couldn't see much of in there. The bundle you picked up by the cutlery was Elastic...used in skirt waistbands. There was a fish knife with that cutlery so she must have been 'old school' like me 😊 Maybe she was into anatomy and self healing. The little bell hanging from the ceiling could have been for a pet bird! The model airoplanes were made of beautiful wood. Thanks for that, well done.

The beer bottle behind the Burns ale is Staropramen! A Czech Pilsner Staro - old, pramen - spring. That's an old bottle too. Wonder how it got there? : )
