This AMAZON FIRE HD 8 Doesn't Charge | Can I FIX It?

Ths Fire HD Tablet (8th Generation, Model L5S83A) belongs to a friend of mine. And in this video I'm trying to fix it. The tablet doesn't charge and won't turn on. Let's just hope I don't break the touchscreen, eh?
