Fun fact Japan doesn’t allow dual citizenship. If the government found out the husband would lose his citizenship, ALSO it’s illegal to cheat on your spouse there.
@MartialArtsNk
@MartialArtsNk 2 ай бұрын
It's absolutely legal mate, like what's illegal about it? It's completely legal. By law in Japan you're allowed to cheat on your spouse, and then when you get caught you're legally obligated to pay in "damaged" for it. That sounds absolutely legal with low consequences. It ain't like it's illegal therefore if you do it you get instantly divorced and send to jail now is it?
@Dakaork
@Dakaork 2 ай бұрын
dual citizenship is not technically allowed. And you would have to renounce your old citizenship if you want to naturalize to be Japanese. However, if you are born with Japanese & another country's nationality, you can work around it. You also can't just go to the police and file a report about someone having dual citizenship unlike some countries either. It's just not that simple. Regarding cheating, it's technically not illegal in Japan. Just like most other nations, you won't go to jail for it. The only thing proof of cheating do is gaining you the right to end the relationship without the other consent and still receive both the palimony and any child care money. The women are typically the one who have to take the brunt of most social backlash in Japan in most cheating case due to social norms. If you cheat, you are a bad human being who doesn't understand loyalty. If your husband cheat, there must be something wrong with you, so the reason go.

@@Dakaork if you’re born outside of Japan and get Japanese citizenship without denouncing your other one, they can take away your Japanese citizenship. My husband is Japanese, and he has a friend who is fighting this now. However, if you’re Japanese citizen first, and get a citizenship elsewhere I think they only take away your Japanese passport. There is a person who is fighting to get get dual citizenship ( I forget her name, but she’s a Japanese native who got American citizenship and ended up losing her passport.) @@viviangarcia5696 I agree, but I'm sure she's read plenty of male NTR that are based on "true stories." I think she is just more inclined to think that they are fake because she cant really relate to the male experience of that happening. It's not like it's uncommon for men to be cheated on. Hell, there are places where entire laws in place so that men cant learn of their paternity in cases where women may have had children with other men (you cant get a paternity tests in France and most countries are very keen on having men be legally responsible for children that arent theirs). Now that she sees it from a female perspective, it stops seeming nonsensical and "ragebaity" to her because she can suddenly envision it happening to her. I guess it's because most people use themselves as reference for whatever gender is involved and think "well I would never do something like that, so that story is probably fake, but THIS story is about something happening to an innocent person like me, so it may be true!"

You can say it has an NTR element because the dude was cheating on her. Yes, he cheated but most of the pain comes from the fact that he is an absolute cancer of a man, and a pain in the ass that she has to fight tooth and nail to get rid of him. The story isn't about the fact that he cheated on her. It's like saying The Fate of the Furious is a street racing movie because it has street racing at the start of the movie. It's technically not wrong but it just isn't the most accurate description.

@@piba8286 The only reason I'm going off is because Sydney has very publicly stated how much she enjoy the male victims suffer in NTR stories. It's pretty unusual for people to admit to that, so you just assume that she is just into this kind of stuff. But for her to then get so viscerally upset about a similar story with a female victim is pretty surprising, because you just assume that she enjoys the drama and sadism of NTR regardless of gender. It's understandable, because she is a woman and probably relates more to a female victim, so I'm not hating on her. But the comments here are hell-bent on justifying it with various "moral arguments" like "women being oppressed" etc, even when you just mention the double standard as a joke. That's why I've "gone off" in some of these comments.
