I feel like you’re confused between the heavy bolt rifle and the AUTO bolt rifle. I’ve never heard anyone say the heavy BR is bad, I have seen loads of people shit talk the auto.

I heavily prefer the style of the heavy and auto bolt over the nade launcher, its hard to argue with the launchers power but I like getting up in melee and hip firing while parry fishing and these two just feel better for that, while also covering range.

There's a perk that marks parried enemies. Might go well with the instant headshot kill perk.

I enjoy the heavy boltrifle for tyrinid missons. Once you get used to leaving a few rounds in the mag when you see it going low which is about the time you get an execute or the 30 sec timer has passed. You can stay near full ammo constantly. Which means you are always ready for a boss and keep that thing firing almost constantly throughout the mission. Plus the contested health regen feels like a heavy with a melee weapon.

Gotta try this for tac, also give the one perk that tags enemies with auspec with parries, also prevents the lictor from cloaking as well. But always enjoy the content have a great one

I wonder why they don't have more cool down indicators, especially for the longer ones 🤔 I know there is a couple in the game, but why not all of em 🤷🏽‍♂️

Brother, I play only bulwark, about 400 hours under my belt. The bulwark can solo the carnifex taking almost no damage really I have done it quite a few times

How does weapon XP work? Is it based off of shots landed, enemies killed, or just a flat rate from completing a mission? Thanks!

Im not 100% sure, but I think is a flat amount per completion based on difficulty. If anybody knows for sure, please confirm or correct.

For progression to the next rarity level it's a flat rate based on the mission xp. For the varient you're using it's based on how much you used it in the mission.

I just find the auto bolt rifle sounds and feels better (not dmg wise) but its not good, the perks and the variants are shit… And the heavy kicks kinda weird when you fire. Looks like it should have a lot more recoil but it doesnt.

Im torn between the Plasma and the HBR on tactical. I started with the GL, but dont wanna cheese with it doing quad damage, or fall into the trap of crutching it so hard that balance feels like a nerf, so swapped off till its fixed. Also missing a single parry or block being punished by 2-3 enemies stagger locking you while eating up a significant chunk health is a bit much... I noticed this happened to you a few times.

the heavy bolt rifle is definitely underrated but one of the best weapons in the game? i personally don’t believe so. After maxing out every weapon in the game i think it’s ranking pretty solidly in the higher tiers but not cracking that top tier, especially when it competes with stalker bolt rifle, bolt rifle, plasma incin, and melta to an extent (even if i do think melta is overrated a bit). great gameplay! and a great video!
