This is tip is unreal, no joke. I was turning well but was never getting solid contact, always that spiny insanely high weak shot, barely ever being able to even hit the ground. Tried that wrist and handle thing, changed everything instantly, I was hitting through the ball and on the ground every time, mind blowing

Thanks again Danny, and I agree with a lot of your other “commentators” who have written to say how useful they have found this tip. I complement you, you have the gift of analysing and then explaining the basics of the golf swing that I’ve never found with other coaches. You’re right when you say that a large part of the body movements are perfectly natural, but with this tip you manage to prompt those automatisms.

I saw a lot of your instruction videos, and all of them are very helpful. After a lot of work with "swinging through" using the weight on the correct foot , and upswing/downswing exercises and bodyrotaion and how to hold the plane and controlling lead-and trailarm in this video you show the key-movement to start ......an the rest follows more easily than ever before. I can't say thank you enough. Your work is awesome. It is worth to see all your instruction videos, no matter which one first, and after a while you can put the puzzle together, no matter how much time you individually need. The swing is a lot of work, for me its a lifetime-work or better a lifetime-joy. Please continue to help the golf- community! Millions thanks! Eva from Germany

As usual Danny you have provided a simple intuitive lesson on developing and efficient swing. I had unwittingly developed something similar to this 7-8 years ago but then I had knee and elbow surgery (left side of course) and lost everything. As I have attempted to find my old swing I have struggled immensely as I mentally couldn't shift my weight and stayed on my right side. As a result I developed a horrendous forward press with a huge early wrist cock with the clubhead heading inside. I reviewed your video on the feet and the 'twisting into the ground' sensation which got me started on the weight shift again, then went on to your driver tip of keeping the right arm straighter in the backswing and now this 'tip' or actually multiple tips has me much closer to my swing from 2014-15. I still need to work on all three aspects but I am now hitting my irons as long or longer than in the past 10 years, I still struggle with the long clubs and preventing an early wrist movement inside but that is what practice is for. Thanks again for a great video.

Danny I realized after watching your video the first time I saw this tip was in a Bobby Jones video. He took the handle back with the club head trailing. Amazing. I was thinking about too many things. Just this little drag has me hitting my balls so consistently. Further and gives you the feeling of a great flow in the golf swing. It doesn't feel like takeaway and down swing. It all feels as one. Start with the drag and you just feel when to shift the weight and you can feel the lag.I was outdriving my buddies in my golf league by 30 yards hitting 300 yard drives. Basically nothing to think about. Thank you

Danny I wish you lived in Ohio USA cause I’d love to just buy you a drink! I watched your videos on hinging your wrist to keep the left elbow straight but most importantly the video on leading with shaft of the club on the take away. I’ve always swing as far back as I could thinking that’s the best. Went to driving range today swinging maybe half as far back as I ever swung before and letting the club drop into that lag position while I was rotating forward. I was hitting 85% of my drives to the end of the range straight that’s about 250-300 yards. I’ve never done that in my life. My other clubs were stuck amazing also all this with what to me feels like a super short swing. I’ve tried every crazy technique on KZbin was ready to quit but I’m better now than in my 20’s. I’m 68. Hope it works on the course. Keep up the good work! Philip from Ohio

Absolutely loved the way you demonstrated the putting tip on this mornings live. Everyone watching who had the same question would have benefitted. Maybe you could do more of this. No one else does it as far as I can see. An hour live would attract lots of viewers and subscribers I think. I would watch every week 👍

I've been looking at the past video's and this one opened my eyes wide open. In my head I now start the backswing with my left shoulder instead of my left hand (feeling). This has improved my swing considerably. Thanks for sharing this.😁

I watched this video this morning before heading out for a round at the Weald of Kent. I tried it in my warm up and in the nets and then used it for my opening tee shot over a pond. Hit a lovely mid flight straight 4 hybrid. It didn't work every time still chunked a couple and thinned a couple. But when it worked it worked. Last hole OK down hill and a bit wind assisted but a 3 wood over a gulley at about 200 that ran out to 280 was easily 50 yds longer than my driver averages! Thanks Danny great tip/drill
