This game looks pretty good and probably would've helped fill the void left by the Arkham games so it's disappointing that we didn't get a chance to play it. You're right, it is long overdue that we get to play as the other members of the Justice League and not just in some weak tie in movie games but something that should be a unique experience.

It couldn’t have came out before Arkham City. The entire reason the Arkham universe was created, was because of this game halting production and then the rights reverting back to WB. And then of course WB, giving a shot to a studio called…Rocksteady.

Nah. I think movie-games were already out of vogue. It was canceled because Gary Oldman (Gordon in DK Trilogy) spoiled it in an interview, and then hype got started so the producers or investors or something rushed the release date. With the game not even officially announced the project just collapsed.
