There's literally no reason this should've taken months to change. All they did was change two very small things and added some needed UI. I've been tempted to break my phone every week for a solid six months or so. Happy for the changes, but it's just absolutely ridiculous that this wasn't changed in the first month or two.

In my industry we call CG's update pattern "malicious incompetence". Leaving the raid broken was motivated by whatever metrics they thought were beneficial for their bottom line - maybe it was a higher amount of time investment, maybe it was to slow down the raid rewards and incur more spending. The bugged release didn't have to be intentional in order for it to be harmful. But then they just left it broken, for so long, it definitely had a negative impact.

100% agree with this. This game makes a huge amount of money for any game, especially one with super simple graphics, minimal animations, stationary backgrounds, no voice work etc etc. I guarantee they have the money to fix this or hire someone to do so. The entire game is designed like a casino where everything is meticulously designed to maximize the amount of money and time you spend in game. If stats showed they could significantly increase income by fixing something like this month one, they could and would have, point blank period.

I feel ya. Anytime the PvE stuff is burning you out just take a break and focus on the core that makes the game fun. Finding the cool characters to farm up. I hope a better PvP mode comes out this year. They have been focusing on the PvE content the past few years.

I feel like the reason they are rolling this out now is because they want people to spend gear/relic levels to upgrade these teams before they bring out the next raid. It's easier so people might be willing to upgrade some teams to get a higher score while still pressing auto. Then the new raid will drop and the characters you upgraded are now "useless" (for the new raid).

When watching it on auto you can just see how much more powerful the team is. Keeping potency up longer than 1 second is a big change.

I can confirm, the darth maul lead and even darth maul under b2 lead is significantly more difficult post raid change. I used to easily beat the 900k tier and now I can barely eek through the 600k. I could already beat the 1.2 million tier with lumi and no zeta pre raid change as well.

The issue is that I don't think cg thinks of us as customers. they think of us as patients(i.e. us healthcare system) We can't go elsewhere to get what we need, so they have zero incentive to do their best. they just do what their policies and leadership tell them to do, not what is best for the game. they have a late stage CEO, so they're likely just trying to drive profit by cutting costs and increasing revenue without doing anything they aren't already.

When they implement the full auto pre-sim option for raids, TB, and other events it will make the absurd time crunch much better. MSF full sim raids and events that are just time wasters after a certain level are a massive QOLI

I think they are delaying the new raid because they want to add some version of Thrawn (likely a GL) before they release a Peridea raid. They didnt want to make GLAT and Thrawn come out right after another so they are just throwing bad batch at us for a little then will go back to finish Ahsoka stuff. The enoch team with night and death troopers is good but not as good as the other Ahsoka content (Baylan, GMs, GLAT). They are also clearly missing a fifth member to the team to even efficiently maximize all of enoch's lead and his unique unless you take away from DTMG's team. CG also kind of leaked thrawn with the blog post stuff about Thrawn having an imperial remnant team. This is all speculation but worth noting.

Did they fix the issue where if i take out the command droid with maul (100% turn meter) then all the droids spawn and suddenly my turn meter is removed randomly getting rid of his bonus turn

I thought it wss cause every new round every unit is reset to 0 but not by removing turn meter, instead they are given an extra turn but is like they are stunned, so all lose a turn and start in 0 meter, that is why some buffs even expire in between waves

I use my two jedi teams in Tier 5. My Luminara team keeps getting stuck on full auto on wave 1 or two because the command droid has a longer cooldown ONLY on the first turns of each wave. If you don't clear the droids in 3 turns, it begins doing the buff strip every other turn. I checked it a few times, even on manual it still does the same thing. That team was doing 1.5 mil for me and now it's tough to hit 1 mil. Maybe on tier 4 it's better, but tier 5 it's not working better. And for my QA team on tier 7, I still had to manual it to get over 3 mil. So I don't see a change. (Gungans on tier 6 full auto seemed to take a little longer than previously.)

what is still bad is them choking the mark 3 for Aeromagnifier and limiting most new raids to new characters so with out the aeromagnifier mark 3 or 500 gems for that one pack that drops what is it like 5-15 it makes it hard to get most GL reqs or the GL to relic 8 and 9 or other characters

As a software engineer for a large client, when we push out a fix, that breaks prod, we normally hot fix in 2 days. Even for pretty minor inconveniences to users. Worst case its fully fixed in 2 weeks if its a really big refactor. Never heard of a SWE gig with this much fix flexibility. 😅 wtf?
