Yes, it should have! I bought the SRAM Rival version for that exact reason. Very happy with it!

So many companies are supplying FSA cranks on "GRX" bikes. Interestingly, I think it is only now, with the new 12 speed, that Shimano has brought in a 165mm option and even then, only for the 610 series crankset that has 46/30 rings.

I don’t own a road bike anymore either. Just a gravel bike similar to yours. Great on bad pavement.

Really sweet bike, I have a Canyon Grizil CB for the "racing" and the all road for more heavy duty stuff although I found a Finna Adventurer frame I might build for the rougher stuff. Cheers on your bike.

Heyoh- Thank you for the great video. I have two good friends who used to work for QBP. I'm wondering if you know them (not going to name them here). Anyway, I have an All City Space Horse (Neptune Blue model) that I use primarily as my commuter in the Twin Cities and absolutely love it, but I want to upgrade the drivetrain on it to GRX 600 level because the FSA cranks and the Tiagra components are not meeting my needs. Do you have any advice or guidance on this upgrade? To add a variable- I'm getting a carbon wheelset for my Salsa Warbird (GRX 800 model) and was planning on taking the current rims on my Warbird and using them on my Space Horse. Any thoughts and insight would greatly be appreciated : )

I don't know the tire clearance on the Space Horse, but you can always try to see if your wheels fit. As for GRX 600 upgrade, it should work great and I would also do the crankset.

my giant revolt advanced 2 came with fsa cranks. other components i have are grx. i mean base model grx cranks shimano 150 bucks. i might end up chaning mine out as well as put a better bottom bracket on it.

Also, why doesn't your fork have mounting points like is shown on the All-City website? Is your fork the Whisky carbon fork, or is it steel?
@ShadLife4 ай бұрын
It is the Whiskey Carbon fork.

I have Sram GX 170 cranks, I wanted and almost bought them in 165, until someone told me they have the same size cranks & they just drill the hole 5mm down. Not sure how true that is, so I went with TRP Evo crank set and I love them. Even tho I had to buy new bb & chainring 🤷
@ShadLife11 ай бұрын
Yeah, drilling the hole further down is a pretty cheap way to do cranks and can cause clearance issues. Shoot, my regular XT cranks get pretty beat up on the ends. I certainly wouldn't want that extra sticking out on a mountain bike.

What do you think of GRX 600 levers? Would you change to grx 800 levers?
@ShadLife11 ай бұрын
Nope, the 600s are excellent!
@OutThere4211 ай бұрын
Actual weight difference? (You’ll probably agree, bike fun increases with lower weights in anything that rotates).
@txmale507011 ай бұрын
lol why would you assume your bb would be compatible with the grx? no doubt the bb you have is an fsa one like mine .
@ShadLife11 ай бұрын
I don't know, I guess I didn't think the bike would have such a low speced crankset...LOL. 24mm is pretty standard these days.

Oh no!! That's a bummer. I need to look around for one or two more events I can attend in it's place.
