Don't need to check cut content, from Iji's dialouge: "Blaidd is Lady Ranni's stepbrother. Ranni's mother, Queen Rennala, approved of him, and they played like siblings from childhood. They were always happy to have me tag along, as well" In Rennala's room there are four bassinets hanging from the ceiling, doing the math thats one for Radhan, Rykard, Ranni, and Blaidd each. What is interesting is that since Blaidd is Ranni's stepbrother is that it means that he comes from Radagon's side of the family, so he brought him a long for a reason it would seem.

If you want a fun and simple run, you could try completing the game with only Weapons from Deathbirds/Death Rite Birds. The title of the video could be "Beating Elden Ring by becoming a Death Rite Bird" or something similar.

Unfortunately, you can get the Death's Poker without hitting a single mob and it's one of the best weapons in the game. It's fun to use but definitely not very challenging

Worn by the assassin's of Ravensmount. This ritual implement relentlessly digs into the wearer's face, preserving one's human instincts while dressed in imitation of the Deathbirds

FINALLY, some truthspittin. I've been running a Blaidd cosplay build pretty much since NG+, almost two years ago now. I've tooled around other stuff, sure, but nothing else has quite the satisfaction. Even in PvP, Wolf's Assault is intense-as long as you know how to use it. I find Royal Greatsword is complemented by a low equip load, so I tend to keep Great Jar Arsenal and Erdtree's Favor +2 handy. Alexander's Jar Shard is obviously a big help, and I don't mind the slight extra damage incurred from Magic Scorpion Charm. (If you don't get hit, what's there to worry about?) Having decent Vigor and Endurance is ideal, and with how little FP Wolf's Assault consumes, you don't need to invest too much in Mind. What most people find when trying out Royal Greatsword is that while the AR is high, the lack of innate frost and the slow, predictable skill feel overly detrimental. However, Wolf's Assault isn't meant to be used at every opportunity (at least not in PvP). It's ideal as a counterattack, owing to its hyperarmor, reach, and the fact that landing that stab almost guarantees you'll finish off your opponent with the following blast. What's more, the flip animation counts as a jump, allowing you to clear a good number of sweeping attacks. There's nothing more gratifying to me than when an opponent gets too overconfident with Corpse Piler or Transient Moonlight-or best of all, with Waterfowl Dance-and to sense their confusion when I flip right through their onslaught and delete them on the spot. It's a powerful weapon, but you have to know how to use it. Miyazaki once said his favorite playstyle was hit trading with a heavy weapon. It feels like Blaidd was tailored specifically to his interests not only as the resident Guts Berserk reference, but also to embody this philosophy of retaliation, lol.

11:20 There is actually another, even lesser known way: If you go to redmane castle pre party, defeat the crucible/misbegotten gank, talk to Jerren and then talk to Iji, the festival will begin, I'm not sure if you need to begin Ranni's questline first in order for this to work as it's been a while since I've done it, but anything that avoids making you deal with seluvis is a win in my book

iirc split damage just means physical damage scales off strenth and magic damage scales off int (in this case) so you're not losing out on much damage especially if you're at/close to the soft cap. it just means you're not getting extra damage

I like these secret starting class+ sub series. All the secret starting classes are interesting to watch, but the ones that require ng+ let’s Tulok start with a capped weapon and comfortable stats.

One suggestion Tulok: Guts build. Pure strength build with the heavy-infused Greatsword with Lion Claw, and just summersault into stance breaking! Had a great time doing that build, and you can get the sword and ash of war before fighting any bosses! The fashion on the other hand is located on the Consecrated Snowfield, so that comes towards the end.

So, I gotta say. I really do appreciate how you narrate these videos. They're good to watch, and listen to, or a bit of both. Makes for good videos to sleep to, interestingly enough because again, I can imagine what's going on while trying to doze off. ...Also helps me relax when I'm not feeling well too.... Anyhoo, it's funny, I've only done one Strength build when I played as Ganondorf.... The rest are Faith or Int characters. (Though, I can agree with you that a pure caster, especially late game is painful, you GOTTA have a melee weapon as a side arm.... Or, your main weapon in my best character's case.)

Third way of unlocking the Radahn Festival. Talk to Iji at least once. Go to redmane castle and quickly deal with the bosses there. Talk to Jerren and mention Iji to him. Go to Iji and mention Jerren. Boom, the Radahn Festival can commence.

Split damage sucks more earlier because resistances being aplied twice is more relevant when you have baby low level damage. But as you get later and alter the split scaling means you're scaling twice as hard.
