I like his point At 4:03 !! about " not leaving anything behind and move on because , more and more people are doing this " what an excellent point !!.... in our city a ton of vans and campers are parking long term and taking away all the parking from our parks and leaving human waste and garbage behind so now the city will step in and ticket or tow them to move on ....no parking more then three hours ..I have no problem with the life style but when you want to visit a park but you cant find any parking ..and seeing people using the brushes as a toilet ..

This van is just gorgeous!! It's got such a charming farmhouse look with a touch of gypsy vardo. And your water heater is just genius! BTW, I 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 the "crappy music" and the "challenging accent". I always wonder why people think it necessary to leave comments like that? I hold it with Thumper in the movie Bambi. "𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯' 𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘺, 𝘥𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯' 𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭". 🐰😉

All YT channels want subs and views. If people find something (that’s easily avoided next time) distracting or not enjoyable, it should be viewed as helpful criticism. The music overshadowed her talking...which is the entire point of having her show their van.

Fascinating solutions for van living. One of the things I'm always amazed by is peoples' toileting solutions ... some park near facilities, some use porta-loos, some dig cat holes ... Being someone who has issues with IBS, I shudder to think how some of those solutions would work for me! I know we all have different challenges, so I'm sure it's workable, you just have to figure out what works for you.

Wonderful! And love the innovative water set up. Well done. The timber work is lovely. And sweet girl just tops this vid off. There are too many great people I want to follow in vans. Wish there were more hours in the day. I am so going to get a van and try to do a few of the lovely timberwork I see in so many tiny homes on wheels. Much nicer than houses.

What a clever couple you are! A great conversion and I really appreciate that changes were made along the way. You only every really get to know your home until you actually live in it. PS Beautiful accent, but please slow it down a bit. I understood everything, but the speed of the delivery prevented the full digestion of some interesting details. A pause here and there means we have time to look, understand and admire. Good luck to you both and keep enjoying life!

Did you do all the work yourself or get expert tradesmen for any of it ? It's very nice. Are you parked on top of the cliff most of the time ? Do you sell birthday cakes, the lady mentioned about cooking birthday cakes in the cooker.i assume its sales to some local cafe ?
@FromRustToRoadtrip

Sow AG Thank you, and we made it all ourselves! We park wherever we fancy, usually somewhere different every night. That’s a funny assumption you’d make, if only we could make money selling cakes or something else we could keep travelling forever! But sadly this was just a birthday cake for Ben 🎂

I don't even know where to Begin the list of things that I will be either steeling outright or are something that I'm going to further improvise with for the {eventual} extended cargo van build-out. *Standing* *Ovation* These kids ever consider putting all of this into an online book with sketch-up diagrams for components and layout??? Because I will force the nearest available Millennial into the yeoman's task of teaching me how to do an on-line-thing-y-type purchase of said e-book... and then they can walk me through the in's and out's of e-book reading... sigh... technology wise, I think we're working somewhere around the 1998 tech level... le sigh, le heave... - Cathy (&, accidentally, Steve), Ottawa/Bytown

People remember that these videos are on the World Wide Web, so there is going to be different accents. Some people have to strain to understand you. What is even more of a challenge music can further inhibit hearing. Besides that the music was just so annoying, I couldn't any further than 3 minutes into it. I bet it was probably a nice build. Remember, speak clearly, speak up and NO music unless it is very, very low.

For some reason, it's an instant turn off in these videos to see a girlfriend/wife and boyfriend/husband doing these living in automobiles thingy. I can honestly say that I'm so far away from being jealous or anything stupid some idiot might think but purely psychological. I may get disgusted to see couples doing this possible because I'd rather see loner qualities in these living styles. Isn't it the whole point that you are off the grid and independent individuals? Otherwise in these couple things it's too much of playing house. LOL lol LOL
