Don’t even get me started on that steel king that he gave a purple seal to, AND THEN AURA Like, ah yes, steel card that should be kept in hand, let’s give it a seal so that we discard it! And then why not aura so that we can play the card too :D

That way, when you are making copies of a card, you don't have to ask "Hmm, do I want to copy my steel card, or do I want to copy my purple seal?". You can just do both, so that way you have a higher chance of drawing a card that can potentially be used in multiple scenarios, not just one.

4:05 i actually just had an erratic deck run last night where early on i got Sixth Sense (spectral cards for sixes) and it gave me an immediate Wraith that gave me DNA. you don't gain or lose sixes, but you get Cryptid cards so i made like 20 sixes and played four of a kinds upgraded to level 12. the synergies in this game are endless. edit: seed was L1PPSY8M on white stake erratic deck. skip very first blind for rare joker that gives sixth sense. on the first boss destroy a 6 for Wraith and get DNA. I don't know if stake or deck matter for seed but i thought i would include it.

23:13 math nerd here, the way to figure this out is actually pretty simple, its just (however many characters there are) to the power of (however many slots you get). Iirc its just all letters plus the digits 0-9 for the characters, and the limit is probably like 10 or something? So thatd be 36^10, so around 3.656e15 seeds

One critque I would make is that when you bought celestial packs, you skipped instead of leveling up a hand. I know you can't sell the celestial card so skipping just wastes money. At least you can increase base of a hand you might not play, but it isn't a complete waste of money.

in some cases its to preserve whstever his last used card is, so that fool can copy it (e.g. death) but if the last used card is bad then yeah definitely better to use the planet card

black stake and above. In the modern game you can get eternals, perishables, and rentals from the shop and booster packs. Tarot or spectral cards that “summon” jokers won’t be eternal

Idk if you know about the mechanic, but just like how jokers can show up in the shop again unless you have showman, consumables like planets and tarots can't show up on packs or in the shops if you're holding them in your consumable slots. It makes it easier to hit things you need when you limit the pools

I mean, There is The seed Listed at The end Of the Video. The main Issue with Just listing The seed, Is that It will Be different Depending on Whats still Locked, and What isn't. Using the Same seed, But different Unlocks, will Result in Different things.

Someone in chat mentioned negative playing cards and that sounds absolutely sick. Like the others they wouldn't count towards the hand size so if you pull them from the deck it wouldn't count and you pull an extra card. So hand size 8 + 5 negative cards would mean that you have a hand size of 13 cards which would cascade into Steel Card shenanigans or any other "still in hand" effects.

Hey, if you ever do the "typecast" challenge which makes your jokers eternal after ante 4, and you get the verdant leaf which debuffs all your cards until you sell a joker like I did, have fun, I love balatro.

Cool that ankh can duplicate the eternals. I wonder if it's theoretically possible to duplicate beyond the joker limit. Eg. if you get Perkeo to duplicate a bunch of anks, then swap it for an eternal joker and make like twenty copies.

It only works with eternal jokers, it's not good enough on its own to carry your early game, and you cant really afford to feed i 3-5 gold jokers every turn either in early game. if you have a good base mult/chip eternal joker it MIGHT be worth going for madness.
