Fun fact Kaggy. The fact that Roshi called Broly "Broccoli" wasn't an accidental localization flaw. It was actually intentional. How? Because in the Funimation English Localization (And probably in the Original Japanese Version too) before Roshi fights Broly at least that's what he made us all think, he refers to Broly as "Broccoli" because he was either drunk or he didn't really know his name? I don't know. I think that this was joke because Broly's name was based off (or was a pun on) the vegetable, well, "Broccoli". XD Well now ya know. XD

I've seen lots of stuff from the Big Green and Speedy dubs, they're always good for a laugh. The Speedy Dub, if I'm not mistaken, is the one from Malaysia, with such gems as "We are the ones who will cause the trouble!" I'm actually a little disappointed this vid didn't include when everyone was laughing after World's Strongest, that always gets me good.

This wasn't a gag dub nor was it abridged. It was a failed Canadian/European dub that was never picked up by YTV.

I'm from the UK, not only have I seen all the movies they did, they only did up to Bojack as far as I'm aware, but the first Dragonball DVDs I bought were their dubs of the second, third and fourth movies, although those were the only ones to get home DVD releases, weirdly... Funnily enough, AB Groupe, who did this, also did the Dragonball and Dragonball GT (but not Dragonball Z, if you don't count the movies) dubs that were shown on Toonami here as well! So, yeah! Totally genuine and also what TeamFourStar were referencing when they called Dende "Little Green"! I actually assumed everybody watching got it, while "Whiskas the Wonder Cat" flew completely over my head originally!
