This is one of endless effects you can do with crimps. One of the original tricks I learned that uses a crimp is Impossible by Larry Jennings like 20 years ago (learn it if you don’t know it, it’s essentially self working and seems Impossible, hence the name). Every smartly designed effect with a crimp should seem impossible. You can crimp with the pinky of your dealers grip hand and uncrimp it the same way, invisibly. They are perfect for the know it all spectators who think they know how you’re controlling cards bc they get to can handle them however they want. The same goes for a Red Herring style force. Add a crimp and a Red Herring style force and he’s right, you’ll have weapons that you’ll use forever. Great trick - I’d just invite you to invent your own effects using crimps bc there might be more than a thousand possibilities for routines. They’re also great for any impromptu situation for powerful, go to, can’t miss effects. Have fun with it! Glad you covered it brother

I love the tutorial and the trick man! Thank you so much! One thing made me laugh though. At 9:48 " and now you can shuffle the cards as much as you want" and one card flops over followed immediately by a jump cut. I know it doesn't matter that the cards flopped over because they can be put back anywhere. I just thought it was funny because I know the feeling when that happens.

Excellent video as Always Nathan. However what if the spectator doesn't do an overhand shuffle and does a riffle shuffle instead? Surely there is a chance the crimp comes out because in a riffle you bend the cards?
@AMillionCardTricks4 жыл бұрын
Try it out yourself! Even a riffle shuffle should be able to maintain the crimp. But if you’re worried about it then just ask them to overhand shuffle
