To make it easier you can bring the card on your pocket to the deck and make a double lift instead of the palm, in my case since i have a really tiny pinky ahahha it works better for me. Thank you for the video ❤
@tonyclare.akamerlin95745 жыл бұрын
Hi Camila like that idea and if the card placed into the pocket was a double backer then placing above then selected card a double lift would only reveal the chosen card, nice idea

this isn't my "first favorite" version of this routine (the one i've been doing for years). but the addition of the box move and the move after the "bent card" (card to pocket finale) have added to my routine and made it my new favorite. Many thanks.

Some suggestions, the way I do it.. 1. Start with asking spectator to point to a random card from fan. Then wrist kill and pick a previously decided card from top(the way i pick, for guys it's king of heart, for ladies it's queen of heart or whatever). 2. For first run, do some false flourish/ripple shuffle, that does nothing, then show card is still at top. 2. Then do a few false cuts from bottom, where first one picks one extra card at top. Double lift and show, it's still on top. 3. Then single lift and put the top card, which is a random card, in the middle. Then pick the Key card by single lift from top to show is still on top. 4. Ask spectator to examine and put the key card in the middle. Pinkie break, do a turn over pass and put the middle key card at top again. Pick it with a single lift.. This will be a kicker ending because user just put it in the middle, which jumped back on top. So, that ends the trick guys.. 😂 I used your catchphrase at the end, just for fun.. hope you don't mind.

@thelifeofapenguin21595 жыл бұрын
No, that's the entire point. The ambitios card routine is a unique routine, special to each magician. If you mean a video of him doing it, probably. A video of someone else doing it? Less likely.
@alaxx97465 жыл бұрын
@@thelifeofapenguin2159 i wasnt arguing that the trick is the same person to person. In fact the opposite. I was wondering IF there is an exact clone. And by the way this exact routin does exist as it was performed on AGT by Matt Franco
@mdmagic80945 жыл бұрын
Great video bro
@artax50055 жыл бұрын
Your version of the Ambitious card is a real great job! You made it feasible even for beginners. The only "weak" point in my opinion is when in the beginning you turn over the 2 top to cards before the selection is replaced on top; I cannot find a justification for turning away from the spectator if I can see his card afterwards, did I miss anything? For the last part I would perform a more direct palming: dps with vertical deck and bottom card exposed so that the spectator see the card going in the middle of the deck, but actually palming straight into the hand, done properly in speed, it fools even magicians :)
@jamestobin11175 жыл бұрын
I too use the dps. It took about 48hrs of practice to get it to where I felt comfortable using it on ppl and now it's my fav go to palm technique. Another great sleight I use in my ACR was created by Chris Ramsay (place card anywhere in deck and it keeps appearing to the top under impossible test conditions, best reactions I've ever gotten from any trick and yet the move is just a simple card control just cant recall the name of it
@iconicthagoat76143 жыл бұрын
You could also use dps for the card to mouth(I had to learn dps just now and figured it out lol)
