Back in the late 90's and early 2000's I had a cat named Squeaker and she would wander the neighborhood at night. When we moved out of that neighborhood a decade later, the little old lady that lived next door said she was going to miss our cat. She said she came over early every morning to say hello and the old lady fed her. Then she said she'd run off down the street and be on her way. She had some kind of routine that we never knew about. I always wished there was some kind of GPS device to latch onto her collar so we could've tracked where she went every night. Nowadays, you can just hook up an HD camera and SEE what they do! It would've been interesting to know where she went and what she did every night. Her brother Piggy stayed home, too afraid to go beyond the driveway.

Having had cats in our family that would spend morning to evening outside, I always wondered where they went. I once tried following one and he of course knew I was following. I kept up for a while, but then... an opening in a hedge I couldn't get through, and he was gone. I'd thought about how cool it would be to attach a camera to him, if a small enough one could be made. 30 years later! 🤣
