It needs something. When we got it, this was it's temporary setup. I haven't had time to make a better, more permanent base. I think what I'm going to do is mill up some big heavy beams to install it on then I can still easily move it if needed.

Doesn't get cold enough. It's never frozen over since we've had the property.

Oh forgot you're not in the north. Seems our weather has changed also. I think we only got 2 small snow events this past winter too. Christmas is coming fast this year.looks like you will be prepared with firewood this season unless of course your customers keep you empty which is a good and bad thing. Ever get that dependable log supply?

I agree a few cords of logs here and working on a few other angles to get more wood on site.

Hope you find a big supply. With all that equipment its hard to see it sitting and not getting used. What happened with the guy helping you? Did you not have enough work for him? Stay safe and build up that inventory. Your Christmas trees are looking awesome. Great job. Don't get discouraged. You have a good thing going there. Ever think of one step further. Supplying landscapers with trees to plant? Or selling smaller ones to hone owners to plant? Just trying to help from Illinois. You've come a long way in knowledge. Life is a learning process and things are constantly changing. People like changes. It keeps them coming. You have built an awesome environment for that. 👍🌲🪵
