Once you get the level 4 and 5 employees with "very fast" stats on sales and restock respectively your shop is effectively automated and you can just stand in the corner and gamble away as long as you keep reordering stuff to restock. Best way is to just sell one item with large profit margin so you spend as little time possible doing anything else than opening packs. To truly ascend to degeneracy i also got the mod that allows me to hold 1000 packs in my hand and open them automatically at warp speed so I dont even have to play the fucking game any more, just alt tab every 10 minutes or so to pick up another thousand packs and watch youtube instead. Hey Spiff. In a similar vein to this, a game called 'Definitely not fried chicken' is a really cool base building management tycoon sort of game but the theme is you create 'products' of a questionable nature to sell at dummy money laundering businesses. The problem is that corrupt police and rival gangs will demand payment or attack you. I started a Steam guide (which I should probably finish) about how if you don't do what you're supposed to - work your way up from Laundromat to chicken shop etc etc and just skip straight to the end game business, Casino's. You can essentially make good legal money in decent time with no threat of corrupt police or rival gangs (because you're not doing anything illegal or selling on anyone's turf). The game gives you just enough to make a good starter business but you can sort of cheese it and if you have as much patience as in this video you can start a super simple Casino and just wait! Maybe I will go back and finish the guide I was making but as it was a while ago I'm not even sure if this is still a thing you can do. Would love to see the full madness and production value of a genius with enough time on his hands to make silly videos about these sorts of games and see how far you get 😄

9:13 If The Spiffing Brit drank those 100 cups of tea in 5 1/2 hours, or 330 minutes, that means he drank around 0.3 cups per minute(100/330). The average serving of tea has 26 milligrams of caffeine, meaning he drank about 8 milligrams of caffeine per minute(26*0.3). The healthy amount of caffeine for one day is about 400 milligrams, or 0.025 milligrams of caffeine per minute(400/(24*60)). This means that The Spiffing Brit is drinking 320 times the healthy amount of caffeine. I think his descent into madness might not have actually been caused by the game.

Tables. Tables are made so a person can sit down and do something. Or nothing. Any person can sit at a table, and if the table is large enough, many people. To make jokes, eat a meal, tell stories. Tables are for people to be together and share. And that is why tables are like Spiffing Brit. Grapefruits, postcards, hugs. These are things people share to connect, to come closer. To open up about ideas and things that make us feel alive, like air, ballet, amazing haircuts, weird countries, three-alarm chili, mountains, continents, the Earth, life. Life is beautiful and sad and hopeful and dangerous. So maybe the reason we share so much is because we understand that without sharing, we can't survive. And sharing is tables. My experience so far, I'm day 200/level 75. There's a light switch on the wall by the door, it's that white square. Customers can absolutely buy unpriced items and if you have a cashier out they will go so be very aware of that. The card tables dont attract customers either. Customers spawn based on shop capacity only. They decide what to do based on a list of checks when they walk in the door. Opening cards in front of customers will affect your rating which in turn will affect your XP from tables. Tables are bad anyway. Without tables you will turn customers faster. While customers occupy a space at a table they take up a customer slot in your store. In that same time they spend playing, 5x the customers could go through the register. Nearly every customer buys something if you dont have tables and you get good XP being on the register. I get ~170 through the doors daily atm and 2-10 dont buy something and those that do are collectively buying 800-1000 items. The low end sprayers take two sprays to de-stink a smelly. The top of line takes 1 spray and is worth investing in when you get there. I get the feeling you dont like the game but you definitely havent done everything. Good times ahead for this game.

(American here) When you do not set a price for the item, the game sets the value of the item to the current market price in the background. People can and will still buy your products. The main reason you set custom prices is for rounding and preventing pennies from slowing you down. I personally round all of my prices to the nearest 50 cents to eliminate pennies, nickels, and dimes from making the checkout process take longer. Once you are further on in the game, I recommend rounding to the nearest dollar.

Do you want spiff to exploit irl colonization?

I should ask my husband to play this and give his review, since he works at a tcg shop irl lol. Something tells me he's not gonna wanna do his job "for fun" in his off-time though lmao.

What so many people don't realize is this is the 3rd evolutions of this game series. It actually started out as a mobile TCG battle game, then became an mobile idle tycoon game (with a sequal) where you managed a card shop and sold the cards, and now this.

Does the game frequently get updated on steam and will it leave early access soon? I've noticed the game has a decent modding scene which is nice and hope keeps up

Love the shade being thrown on another steamer bait game. Funny stuff!

"Sorry, thats a display model" "Well, isn't that how this works!? You sell what's on display! Otherwise, it's not a shop, is it? Its a house."

96h's and 37m's of in game time played, so us the viewers don't have to subject ourselves to playing this trash of a game. Thanks for your hard work @TheSpiffingBrit for this, yet another highly entertaining video.

gonna be honest i cheated for my blue ribbon on steam 😂 even with cheating it took me 15hrs. pulling the ghost card and filling the 2000 collectables is ridiculous...like its digital lame cards. it would be different if the art was all different, but getting the same picture with just a full image shouldn't be 1/5000 chance lol

As a small child I used to save up $5 each week to go to the card shop in the next town over to play in a yu-gi-oh tournament. So, I don't know if this is the intended mechanic, but your target demographic is real lol

You, good sir, are a mad man. Putting yourself through such suffering for our entertainment. Go relax, get a nice cup of tea and try not to dream of opening packets of cards.
