*Stop being a short hitter…this is the easy and simple way to hit longer!*

I tried this last Saturday, when having to drive across an intimidating wide gorge. I was the only one to make it across the gorge. I was shocked! When I went to look for my ball, it was way down the fairway beyond the gorge. I was the oldest golfer (62) in our group and typically, the shortest driver. It felt a little out of control so I only did it a couple of times. I'm going to try it again next time and can't wait to see the results.

Hi Alex, recently watched Bryson and John Daly they both mentioned and queried why grip fitting is not a thing as to gain better connection . Could you explore how this could improve our golf ?

Great question yessss for sure!

I saw that same video. I recall John Daly stating that having the proper grip size is more important. On the flip side, Bryson uses Jumbo Grips, which are far bigger than what most golfers (Amateurs and Pros) use. If you are slicing the ball, having far bigger Grips are only going accentuate that slice even more. There's a guy on KZbin who does or builds clubs, installs/builds clubs, shafts, and Grips and he even said that going with super big Grips only make problems worse, not better. In closing, what works well for Bryson, may not always suit everyone else. Plus we all swing and deliver the club differently.

We always talk about the snap, but equating it to disc golf throw is so simple!

Two take aways from this that I think will really help me - the concept of throwing the disk is just perfect . . . so nice and easy. And then I like 3rd gear as a rejuvenated way to capture a 50% speed swing - which has been really difficult for me. Taking these to the course tomorrow - can't wait to see if I can apply the two tips for the 9-hole round and reap the rewards!

Love this and such a simple one you can start at home. Looking for some help Al, I’m currently going through. Swing change which is chest position at the end of the swing. Currently I’m leaning back and away from target which is causing high, wofty right shots or slice. Being told to swing down and finish more vertical, more with irons than driver. Could you or have you done a video on this?

Alex, really like this mindset on the teed up swing. Thanks a ton. If you get a chance, could you give us the scoop on your Full Swing Kit monitor? Especially with regard to its accuracy when used indoors. I’d love to know more about it, since I’m in the market to add one to my golf routine. Currently looking at Mevo+, SkyTrak +, Bushnel Launch Pro, and Golfzon Wave. But I might go the extra mile on the Full Swing Kit if I knew how it stacks up in indoor use.

Your instruction is excellent thanks - could you somehow do a closeup of upper and lower palms at impact please (with iron and driver) - I have been trying to do the throwing a disc - but am not 100% sure as to wether left palm is up sideways or down - hope this makes a bit of sense

Thanks for great videos. When I look at this tip I get the impression it is the lead arm pulling the club while many other tips give the impression of the rear arm pushing the club. This must be a really important principle - what is your feeling?

Hi Alex, great content as usual. Your tips are always first class! Any advice on grip pressure? I find if I grip the club too tight I tend to slice, especially with the driver.

Just as you started out with your club head cover, I thought, I should use one of my disc golf discs for this and just learn to play disc golf left handed! Going to have to give this a try on the regular!

Wonderfull drill, will surely try it. One question, are or were you a natural fader (slicer?) and will it help control the club face and attack angle?

Love your common sense lessons Alex, I've learned so much. However, a 274 yard drive in gear 3? I'd have to have a 10 speed to hit that. LOL
