I used to always include him on my team just for the chance to use that super against my friends. And if you kill your opponent during that super then everything slows down and it looks theatrical.

I just always thought CapCom was dope. I would run him on point and just better fighting game player all of my opponents who actually watched tournaments and they would get so mad. I agree. He is the only one that can call for more assists in the game. You can summon the munmy and summon 1 of your character to assists as a follow up. I always do a sentinel rockets and baby missile combo with captain fire as zoning strategy 😅

In the video when he plays as Commando, he's not using his 3 personal assists, which means he's not using Captain Commando to his full potential. All 3 assists in combination are good for keep away, block damage, meter charging and all the while leaving Commando relatively safe.

Psylocke is possibly my favorite character. She's fast and has all the tools, projectiles, 2 extra jumps, great combos and can be amazingly aggressive. Honestly the assist is the cherry on top.

What the heck? Captain commando is op. Just press hp to close in gap and use the ninja for multi block damage. The ninja has a bit of horizontal range and can use to block one hit. His hp dont stop. U can use hk after which most character cant. His spinning helper can make ppl unblock after they jump in just like cable. His hp connects with is hk lunch in corner or hp to trip. Hp tricks opponent cuz they dont know he can trip or launch. Its also a delay. His hk can trip and down lk to launch in which most character cant trip and launch. His trip then thunder punch can use his captain sword or captain storm in corner. Here is one more tip. All of his super when enemy lays flat next to you you can launch with down lk to standing hk. Try it. I got so much more tricks but im not gonna type it. Will take too long.

The game Captain Commando is from canonically takes place in four years (as of the writing of this comment) which means that unless Street Fighter's sliding timescale has pushed it further into the future, Captain Commando could be a playable character in Street Fighter 6. I played a ton of MVC1 on PS1. He's good for beginner and intermediate players. His flame doesn't have travel time like a normal fireball and that corridor is hard to get through. He can also ground sweep then corridor for an easy 2 hit combo. He is just a very beginner friendly character.

As a Captain Commando player before MvC or MvC2 came out, I'll have you know that the ninja's name is Ginzu, the mummy dude is Mack the Knife, and the baby in a robot is uh, Babyhead(? IIRC), who incidentally did not have the super cool riding on a missile move in the original game. You are right about corridor being his only good move though. I used to win by spamming it ad nauseum due to its insane priority.

Something's, corridor can hit twice as an assist if used with a projectile super. Commando by himself should be on the ground, his assists make up for alot. If you want hit confirms use fierce captain fire in the corner after c.lk,lk,fp then go into super. If you mash his throw you can actually take off half life or more.

According to the movelist in the HD version of Marvel 2, it's "Captain Corridor". It's also spelled the same way in the MVC1 Dreamcast manual. Nash even has a move in SFV called "Justice Corridor", as well as a callback costume to Cap.
