Very similar to skullgirls' philosophy of "Tods have to be all original moves" because if you press the same button 3 times it counts as an infinite and gets you bursted

Can we also talk about how well animated she is, especially her idle animation. Heck, all 8 characters made for MvC2 have fantastic animations, designed around the limited frames each character were alotted (as opposed to the rest of the roster who lost a lot of animations frames in this game compared to previous entries in the series).

Tron was my main in both MvC2 and MvC3. She's a lot of fun, and Megaman Legends references are always a win. Her Gustaff Fire assist in vanilla MvC3 was also totally invincible. It's funny that it put her in a similar situation as in MvC2 - mostly slept on as a point character but was slotted into lots of teams solely for having a broken assist.

Really depends on the character. Mvc2 in terms of the art assets was almost entirely an asset flip, and some of the sprites (cammy, morrigan, etc) are from games that were already old when mvc2 came out, and have some weird softness to them because of resolution scaling, so they actually look way sharper in their original games. But the new sprites, like Tron, Cable, Marrow etc look fantastic. If you want to see what I believe is peak capcom sprite art look at cyberbots and armored warrior. those games look _incredible_ .

Tron Bonne is fucking CRAZY good. I don't play in ratio tournaments; but my ratio and also main team is Tron-Jin-Sabretooth. Initially I just wanted to have a team that complimented Jin (very weird and cool character) but the synergy was so good, it functioned better than my main team containing Sentinel, Cyclops, and Juggernaut; despite being lower tiered. Tron Bon is the glue that holds teams together. She's so good at this, I feel like statistically worse teams become better than the sum of their parts. Tron Bon is the sauce

As less and less combinations remain the odds of someone using the next available combination decreases significantly. Also, picks aren't random so some of the teams that have low tiers, or characters that don't work well together, would make those comps way less likely. I guarantee some combinations haven't been used. The numbers involved end up arbitrarily large.

Tron Bonne’s air dash to heavy punch is a masterful cross-up with Sabertooth Birdy assist. Also, if you use storm with Tron, you deal a great amount of damage. Tron’s super with all those servbots work well with Captain America’s Charging Star. Edit: Tron-Ryu-Captain America. Don’t sleep on Ryu’s projectile assist with the air dash heavy punch cross up from Tron

Rogue/Storm/Tron is another good team I remember seeing. Rogue can create lots of crazy cross up situations by air dashing and dive kicking while calling for Tron assist (similar to your strat with Chun). Rogue and Storm also have a lot of chemistry as a team, especially Storm's Lightning Storm DHC off Goodnight Sugah which can lead to a full air combo, and Storm's assists can help Tron maintain her pressure if Tron can get the corner.

If you pay attention to damage numbers, you can tell tron's assist is a glitch. They made her projectile assist her medium attack, which does 15 dmg TOTAL over 3 hits, but they made the 3 hits EACH do 15 dmg.

The only reason I've been curious about these games is BECAUSE of Tron. MML was always my favorite MegaMan series. So if I ever did play this I think I would be bias towards using only the MegaMan characters.

A secret for Tron Bonne, when using her Alpha assist, with having one meter, and doing a THC. For the Lunch Rush, the gun doesn't have to hit the opponent for the Kubons to come out. Unfortunately, you sacrifice the top tier assist.

I play Captain America/Tron/Sabertooth and the Final Justice >> Lunch Rush DHC has some of the weirdest properties I've ever seen. It works well with around 50% of the characters, it whiffs with around 25%, and with the other 25% it only works if you start Final Justice FROM THE RIGHT. Why? Because Marvel 2 I guess.
