This video is not sponsored by Rotor Discs, I purchased these with my own money and they seem pretty decent for the price. Time will tell of course!
Let me know in the comments if you have had experience with these or have tried any alternatives.

The short wheelbase of the TT means very little rear braking pressure. Im sure you could have fitted those yourself Andy....😳😳😏😏😀🇬🇧

The cheapest rear dics are £45 each if you want the better looking then they will be fine. OEM type pads should be fine, racing pads are a little strong with solid discs.

Have you managed to get those digital ac controls that you have retrofitted working properly?

Cheap discs fail early, like very early. They are too expensive at any price. OEM only.

You will be surprised but OEM is made by Pagid and called eco parts. Same as brake pads made by Pagid just box is OEM and called eco parts

@@MtechGarage This is definitely not the case here. This video showed the edge of both rotors. The OEM one looked about twice the thickness.
@andykirby
@andykirby Жыл бұрын
@tarstarkusz there's no difference in the thickness of the rotors, both are the same. Must be the camera angle playing tricks on you!

4:09 Just look at how thick the stock one is vs the one you bought, which looks about 1/2 the thickness. You get what you pay for. Not only is there less metal, it's a much lower grade of metal.

How can you tell there is a difference between them thickness wise, he didn't even put them side to side, to me they look same , also I think they have to make them the same thickness, even if it's aftermarket. Let's see if Andy can confirm they are the same thickness
@MtechGarage
@MtechGarage Жыл бұрын
@@ATICrossX it's same thickness,old looks bit thicker because was rusty around
@tarstarkusz
@tarstarkusz Жыл бұрын
@@ATICrossX Why would they both have to be the same thickness? The caliper makes up the difference.
@tarstarkusz
@tarstarkusz Жыл бұрын
@@MtechGarage That might be the case. I didn't see it in person and I didn't put a micrometer to it. However, I have experience with aftermarket rotors and there even videos of how bad these no-name rotors are. They made from a poorer quality metal.
