Oh that’s a totally fair comment but it’s still annoying for me, especially when I feel this happens every single time. It looks like it’ll sell for a decent price then just goes up and up and up… On that front though, the vast majority of people buying cars on turners damaged are getting them to part out or fix and sell on. Regularly see cars I missed out on up for sale a few weeks later. We’re all just trying to make a living

@@stevenrotherham6443 thanks. Also getting an ex employee off turners commenting on here suggesting they bid up their own auctions to get more for them. Which is consistent with what I’ve seen. Almost every car I buy there’s “someone” (or maybe even a computer) that waits till the last minute and bids. And they usually do this up to a set price, say 3k. It’s always a round number. Almost every auction does this

You should buy a stolen and recovered Toyota Aqua or Mazda Demio, then fix it up and sell it! I really love to see more of your videos of you buying cars, fixing them up, and selling them (reason why I've just subscribed to you!). BTW This VW Polo GTI is built in Spain and the Mk5 Golf GTI is built in South Africa. Nice, review it's cool to see how a modded one of these goes. It's well known that these had good potential with a a few choice mods. Also time has proven to show the strength of these manual 1.8T Audi A3 sourced MK4 GTi over the MK5 1.4 twin charged DSG models which susposiblly where brilliant when new but time has proven them be riddled with problems due to their complexity. VW obvious caught on and replaced it with a new 1.8T and later their 2.0T engine proving sometimes simple is better

@@KiwiCarLife I remember when those Skoda VRS fabia wagons came out, I was quite intrigued especially in the green. It seemed like they had it all, good performance, fuel economy, handelling practically, luggage space in a small affordable package and price that was also a bit of a sleeper with just the right amount of rally flair and that twin charged engine when new even won engine of the year. It's a good thing I never got one given how many problems that engine and gearbox had. With this polo it might actually be cool for you to keep for a little while before you flip it. Put some 200TW tyres on it do some track days, maybe some auto cross. Given the mods on it I think it might be good for your channel to do a few things on it first.

I don't think this video was quite advertised as a review. To me, it seemed like he was sharing his experiences buying a cheap auction car. This seems to have been what he's consistently done with auction videos. He's still posting a good number of "proper" reviews (though granted his reviews tend to be on the shorter side too). Personally, I found this video enjoyable and don't have a problem with this type of video and the rate at which he's posting them.
