That's what I always got back in the day. We moved to TN 35 years ago and the one thing I really miss is Capt. Nemo's. My mom always got the steak and egg before she went to bingo.

This is crazy! This was one of my families' favorite places to get subs from when growing up around Romulus. Started eating here back in 1971. This place has been there since the late 60's when John Brimble started it. Yes, i agree this is the best and first location. I mentioned in a previous video you posted this was the place to get a good steak sandwich and add the egg. Glad you tried it and like that way too. If you go again have them put some dressing (the vinaigrette) on the meat then add the lettuce, tomatoes, raw onions if you like it that way or you can also have them fried with the meat, then salt, pepper and more dressing on top. This way you get extra flavor in the meat too. i added provolone cheese and mushrooms and egg to mine my husband likes green peppers on his. Which you can customize at Nemo's for an up charge. Ever tried Downey potato chips? They're good too.

I do remember you mentioning the egg and that's why I tried it. It sounded really interesting to me. And it was good! I've heard of Downy chips but I've never tried them. They're a local company? Thanks for your feedback and your recommendations!

The pizza sub is usually my go-to when we eat here. Also have gotten the steak, egg and cheese (a light sprinkle of lawry's seasoning salt takes it up a notch). The Club sub looked pretty good so will have to try that someday.

I appreciate you watching the videos! So there's a couple answers here. Usually the bites that I take in the video are all that I eat of the food. So by the end of a video I maybe have taken 12 or 13 bites. I also work out 4 days a week and I eat a clean diet when I'm not doing reviews. Sometimes depending on the food I will eat the leftovers lol but it's pretty rare And sometimes if there's anyone with me while I'm doing the review they get to throw down! Thanks for the questions!

That was my very first sub shop I ever visited as a kid. I gotta go Traditional, extra trim, extra Provolone all day. Love this place. The Westland one at lunch gets crazy busy sometimes.

I went to that location a ton back in the 90’s when I worked in Romulus. They tried to open a location in Taylor on Ecorse Rd over 5 years ago that lasted less than 6 months , because of horrible food and service. I have tried the Romulus location again last year and thought it was good, not great like back in the 90’s My cheesesteak goto is still Gabriels or Bulldogs in Dearborn.

@ there are 3 dives within 1 mile of each other on Michigan Ave that are all top tier hope in the walls. lol Roys squeeze inn, Gabriel’s Cheese Steak Hoagies and then Bills hot dog stand (they open in the spring)
