@amygdala_HUH3 ай бұрын
@@YasminMahnazIs it a trend between Middle Eastern people to call Indian food copied when it really is not ? Arabic cuisine and Indian cuisine are similar because of the long cultural exchange between the Arabic and the Indian Peninsula. And India were ruled for decades by Mughals and Muslim invaders who shared Turkish and Afghan ancestry and while being under their reign they introduced their culture making many similar dishes of Middle East popular here. Mind you we had many Arab merchants coming here in our country for trade, mostly because of spices which is why the spices used in Arabic cooking and Indian cooking are similar. Many such dishes that y'all claim to be copied have existed since Indus and Harrapan civilization. Both the cultural cuisines are influenced by each other, it's not one sided. Forgot to mention but there are several theories that do state hand India has Iranian ancestry since many people did immigrate here from Iran. Although this decade long study has raised much criticism a lot of DNA tests has supported the claim.

I'm a Publised Author - Books & Articles + I have another Degree & a PhD. I'm twenty eight now; I'm very grown up. Indian food - is Not the Best in the World (& many ppl don't like those pungent & heavy spices) I wrote that I like spicy food - espc Korean (& Chinese/Cantonese & more) & Japanese. I just dislike Soutt Asian food though I love my Indian friends & would never mean to be upset by that. (& in my Experience; Benjamin & espc Pakistani food is even worse. (Ofc Indian ppl make jokes about Begali & espc Pakistani food themselves.. Don't tell strangers on the Internet to grow up dear; I am not one of the kids you & your School friends pick on bc they are younger & you think that's ok! Peace🙏🏻💜🇬🇧💜

As an Indian I recommend you to make a dish called "Chole Bhature" which includes this Chikpea gravy (Chole) and a fried dish called (Bhature) u should try it coz thats the best and most popular combo with the chikpea gravy U can see the recipe for "Bhature" on youtube it needs a batter like for paratha and naan 😋

As a Lahori Pakistani, I would like to mention that Naan Chane is a traditional breakfast of Lahoris and you will find Naan Chane sellers in every street neighborhood of Lahore and the funny thing is that each Naan Chane seller has a different taste. It will be different but it will be delicious.

Pakistan cuisine is an offshoot of North Indian cuisine As Pakistan used to be India before 1947. But the original will remain the traditional one.

It’s actually crazy to me how some people dismiss dishes that don’t have meat?? My family is South Indian and most of our meals don’t include meat, but we still get all our protein content. Eating plant-based protein sources is really healthy. Definitely recommend lentils for anyone looking to make the switch. Explore indian cuisine. Has some of the best vegan/vegetarian options out there.
@rosesforleo3 ай бұрын
Chenna masala is definitely one of my favorites. If you want to enhance the texture of the chenna, go to your local indian store and get dried chenna. Soak it in water. Indians do this for basically all lentils! Depending on the dish my family will then boil it or pressure cook it. The texture is so much more smoother and consistent!
