Hi Amy! It's really nice to see that you've been to Nanjing too. My aunt lived in Nanjing, so it's part of my childhood memories. I really enjoyed walking under the paulownia trees in Nanjing, the huge trees give the city a very different cityscape from Beijing. Also, Nanjing has a very interesting and historical nickname "Stone City石头城", which I think is probably due wto its ancient city walls and buildings. There is a song about Nanjing called "金陵谣", maybe you can listen to it. They also wrote about Beijing (紫禁), Chengdu (锦中客), Guangzhou (天南歌), Xi'an (长安四韵), and Hangzhou (云山入梦舟). I travel to all these cities and 👂 these songs while roaming the streets.❤
