When you think of impressive game companies, you might think of Konami, who was constantly pushing the hardware limits of the NES. But there was a lesser-known company doing the same thing: Sunsoft. They made some impressive games, and utilized enhancement chips, just like Konami did. But how did this all go down with Nintendo’s policies in the US? And how were their games as a whole?

One of my favorite games which happened to be SunSoft was Aero the Acrobat for SNES.

isometric? Gremlins is more like an overhead view. Isometric is liek that 30 or 60 degree angle view like snake rattles and roll.

Literally not isometric. Looks like Willow or Fester’s Quest. I vaguely recall Bill and Ted being isometric though.

Fantasy Zone looks so weird in the NES lol I admit I find Master System's color palette much more appealing

The Sunsoft 5B is basically an AY-3-8910 like chip for the nes

The NES got two versions of Fantasy Zone. One made by Tengen and another one made by Sunsoft. The original is from Sega though.
