I think Charles would enjoy RM's new album "Right Place, Wrong Person." What he said about elitism is very relatable. I remember I had friends who were insufferable about that stuff and I too had a bit of a mindset like that for a little while, when I was listening a lot to jazz fusion and prog rock.I also agree with how understanding of music can elevate the enjoyment a lot, but also diminish it.The same can be said for singers with good vocal technique. It isn't just vocal technique ofc, but when it's there I appreciate it a lot more. Jacob Collier is one of those artists that just ticks most boxes for me musically, while BTS tics a lot lyrically and Ren. I really enjoyed this podcast!

hi there tara. i stumble across a guy from agt that is called alex sampson. if you havent seen the youtube video called " Early Release: Alex Sampson Sings Original Song, "Pretty Baby" | Auditions | AGT 2024 " from the agt channel then you should do that. he is singing in a 1950 - 1960 vibe and it is a song he have wrote by himself if i heard it right. just a tip! :)

Hii Tara can you react to Petr Elfimov, he is a singer that Dimash was amazed by and talked about in an interview back in 2016 saying that he didnt like rock music until he heard petr elfimovs cover of gethsemane back in 2013. Petr is super underrated. "Голос 2 Сезон: Петр Елфимов и Анна Ризман - Я тебя не люблю" would be a nice video to start with :)
