It provides a new campaign, new weapons, new exotic quests, and so much more! We also have a New Final Shape Raid, as well as New Subclasses! The Prismatic Titan, Prismatic Hunter, and Prismatic Warlock! Play these within the new Pale Heart Destination!
The new Destiny 2: Episode 2 Revenant Act 1 is Live! We have the new Onslaught Salvation Activity, New Revenant Weapons, as well as the new Vesper's Host Dungeon Rewarding the Icebreaker Exotic Sniper Rifle! We also have New Revenant Seasonal Artifact Perks!

Personally I don’t see how Destiny 2 can’t come to mobile as a whole. Look at all of the content in Warframe and notice that the full game is now on mobile. It’s not a different version, it’s not a mobile specific version, it’s the proper Warframe game and you can play with PC and console players.

I still play Destiny 2 and I’m a day one player but I keep seeing this game die and take horrible direction. They have over complicated the entire system making it non desirable for new players and only rewarding the die hard fans with dedicated fire teams. If you are a solo player than this game is not for you unless you don’t mind not having the best gear. LFG is ruthless at most times and not fun.

The thing that could save destiny rising is some form of connectivity feature to give players of dr to d2 a reason to play both. My idea of having a few new archetypes in dr that you can send rng rolled to d2 and story wise bring mercury back and the infinite forest is the bridge the timelines, so new loot for a weekly mission.

I gotta say, this happens in gaming all the time. Developers shake up the status quo bc the player base is bored, as is designers and the programmers. The redesign shakes off folks who are likely to leave anyway and for every one they lose, another takes their place, especially internationally. Ya, 98% of KZbin channels will post titles “this is the end” (cue Doors tune), bc they’re bored and want to take their subscribers with them. This game will last until D3 comes out or til Bungie pulls the plug. Rick, keep doing what you’re doing, as you do it well. Thanks for the plethora of useful and interesting information. ✌️🖖👽

Because it’s a separate project made by a different studio with hardly any oversight from bungie. Did you even watch the video? Or the dev video from net ease?

Thankfully this is obviously not a port and maybe there will be some actual design innovations going on here. NetEase will apply a very grindy, formulaic user funnel and likely will feel sticky at first. They’ll need to prove they can hold attention spans for 2 - 4 weeks and beyond. Even if they just get it like 60-70% right out of the gate, they’ll succeed. It’ll take a year to get into a dev rhythm where they can meaningfully turn around user feedback and come the 1st anniversary event, you should see them settling into a good healthy install base. Take with salt, spoken from experience.

I’ve invested a lot of time into D2 and if I have to grind to get the same exotics I’ve already unlocked, there is zero point for me to play this. This will be for someone who looks at the monster Destiny 2 has become and gets cold feet when entering the tower for the first time and turning the game off because they are so overwhelmed. If my progress transfers…I may give it a go but this is the “grind” players have been asking for.

A couple things to note: (haven’t watched the video yet) 1: Bungie is not diverging any of their team to make this game, NetEase it. Bungie is still putting 85% of their team on Marathon (probably) 2: This game is most likely made for the Western side like India. They play a shit-ton of mobile games and Pete Parsons wants to add a Rickshaw to his car collection too. Hence he now wants India’s money, too.
