I buy the Hot Cheetoh macaroni just for the cheese packet. I pour the cheese powder into a ziploc bag and add a bunch of pork rinds and give a good shake. Tastes JUST like Cheetohs! Super simple and great taste! No cooking involved :)

Cheetos are made from an extruded corn meal. It is squeezed into a desired shape. Some are random; other shapes are structured (cactus, hurricanes, etc). With the exception of Sweetos, all Cheetos are an unflavored corn puff. Coating is not applied as a dust, but is a slurry. Think damp sprayed coating that goes only on the surface. It dries to a dust later. Love your channel. Been very helpful in my weight loss - 85 pounds and counting.

A long time ago my sister bought a quantity of cheddar cheese powder (orange color), I believe on Amazon. Seems like it was about a quart jar full. She was trying to emulate the original blue box Kraft mac and cheese. It worked. Anyway, I'm thinking if you added cayenne powder to that powdered cheese you'd pretty much have flaming hot cheeto mix without dealing with (and getting tempted by) those noodles. If you wanted to tweak the color or flavor, a bit of paprika might come in handy.

Thanks, once again! Just an FYI, Trader Joe’s sells little little spice jars of “Cheesy Blend”, powder, which tastes great, plus it’s super simple and clean ingredients. I put a little in a zip bag with pork rinds and that makes a very good snack. You might add a teensy bit of powdered sweetener and some powdered smoked paprika or cayenne to get your cheetos dupe. I have an idea if no one else has said it . Deep fry those and use a good piping bag and put it in freezer to get real cold before you fry . Squeeze piping bag and use a fork , knife or spoon to cut off little individual pieces as you squeeze . Put on paper towels and then coat with the cheese powder or the cheetos powder . I guess leaving it in the freezer will take experimenting to get it right before you pipe it out . Thanks ladies :)))

I have nacho cheese powder and ranch powder, they come in maybe 3 oz.jars ,( in the other room!)… I will try using those until I go grocery shopping, where the regular cheese powder also comes in a small container…I’m not a “hot spicy” person…but this is still exciting…been looking for something crunchy for a treat now and then😊🎉❤

this is going to sound weird maybe but do these have the same texture as Cheetos? if so i am going to pass on this one unless my daughter and the grands visit. I have sensory issues and Cheetos texture is one of them. makes me think of Styrofoam which I hate the feel of and the sound it makes when its rubbed together. ive never eaten Styrofoam but I imagine the texture is like Cheetos lol. like i said....weird!
