My guy. You already know Paul George to the Knicks would not work. Thibs' would run George into the ground minutes wise, and he would inevitably get hurt prior to or during the playoffs. Thibs has not shown that he will ever truly change his coaching philosophy. It is part of his DNA. The Knicks can try if they want, and they will end up sorry. Unless just having a great regular season is all they want in NY, and we know that's not the case.

There is no way Clippers want to willingly trade PG. PG most likely wants to stay because he’s from Cali. This team is likely trying to find a younger backup 4 and 5. The team had a whole training camp expecting Russ to be the main PG with Batum, Mook, RoCo, and KJ Jr coming off the bench. They still had a 26-5 run. Now with the new arena means they’re undoing the shitty schedule Sterling forced this team to play into. They had to play third priority to the Lakers and all the other events at Staples. The Clippers have more back to backs and afternoon games. The new arena means new schedule. There’s still value of keeping the stars and being a 50 win team. A ton of players want to go to LA for the weather and the fame, and some want to go back home. Balmer also does not want to rebuild but to “retool”. The Clippers will be fine.
