I forgot to mention on the punk combo video because there you mentioned that you don't want to draw the trap, but thats only if you play 1 copy and even then it's kinda whatever. Through playing around with the deck myself for a bit and watching and listening to Pak's take on it, I highly recommend at least 2 if not 3 copies of it not only for that reason but also because it is just a really good interruption in the deck since it's basically a set MST that can pop literally anything that isnt indestructible. I also like to play 2 sharakusai; 1 for the fusion line and one for bringing out Amazing Dragon on your opponents turn to bounce cards.

Bruuuuh your explanation of Chaos Ruler not being banished after revived back by it's own effect, if sent to the gy as XYZ material... Fucking crazy! I never thought about that. It almost makes it a once per turn effect, if you have enough lvl 8 XYZ monsters to play and lvl 8 monsters to summon, as well as your opponent not banishing it first with Called By or D.D. Crow. If they do, you could always bring it back with Shen Shen and do it again. Now it makes 1000% more sense to see Gizmeck. Quick OTKs with big synchro monsters protection... That is just genius.

I prefer 2 sharakusai because i want to end on 1 after using 1 in the main combo since it lets you quick synchro on my opponents turn with it

I have playtested alot of pure punk and came to the conclusion that you wanna play 2-3 of the fieldspell. also I cut the 2 cards for the trap line up because psychic end punisher is just way better going 2nd

i would change lambda or the charmer for swordsoul chengying, you can make baronne, and chengying in 1 turn using necro shinobi

i play this deck with 3 field spell and an orcust engine, so the deck doesnt die from drnm and knightmare can dump orochi :)

Deck doesnt really die to dark ruler anyway. Through dark ruler you have a pop, an ogre and 3 draws off of 1 card so you have 6 unknowns assuming you started on etele, 5 if amin foxy or ogre

Called by should be at 2-3 counter play needs counter play. This deck is a example why called by is a card in the first place. More hand traps then actually punk cards.

The thing is called by negates for more then one Turn and hits every Deck that has one grave eff they have to use every Turn. Against ht you can also Play crossout.

@Pyro Thunder idk. I only play MD where grave is at 2 and it’s not a huge problem there but a good staple cause of all the crazy handtraps. I think the 2 turn effect of it is a form of balance in a way. If you called ash, then you cant use ash on their turn.
