Wow . I don't have the ProSendr but you can still do the drills . What incredible ball striking it produces . Works great with the driver too . After a hour of practice I was flushing every thing with a beautiful draw . I think I found my new swing !!
@harryshawgolf3 ай бұрын
Yes you certainly can still do the drills, as long as you exaggerate them enough! Keep me posted with how you get on.

Great tutorial, good for thought. I've tried a few times to stop the follow through after generating speed in the downswing, but the pro sendr will hopefully correct the hands/wrists to deliver ball speed effortlessly
@brandonkriegerKNSS yes to a certain degree, i'm going to be reviewing a product that in my opinion... so far is the closing training aid to fixing the casting movement. Stay tuned!

I'm on Trackman now with prosendr. Path is right, launch angle is up 2*, ball speed up 2 mph, better path and face angle. Better land angle.

Interesting what kind of shot you were teaching, Sean Foley, who has popularized the ProSENDR Golf, teaches that you start releasing your right hand as it is at your right leg.
@harryshawgolf2 ай бұрын
@kennethjanetnapper4285 very interesting, to be honest, the majority of golfers including myself suffer with letting the club head take over the hands before impact which leads to inconsistent ball striking ad irons shots going too high and short. Hence why I teach to hold this angle more.... just like Alec struggles to keep the hands ahead in this video.

Good video as usual Harry. I get it that to compress the ball, the trail wrist needs to keep its angle. But whereabouts can it be released? I always think it should be where the imaginary impact bag is placed just beyond my lead foot, else I'd look like a handle dragger on video. I don't mean the drill, I get the exaggeration part there for 'feel'. But for the 'real', where should it be?
@harryshawgolf3 ай бұрын
I would encourage you to exaggerate it was much as you do in the practice swings as you do hitting shots… because of the feels vs real, the hands should move slightly more ahead of the club face. And after that due to the weight of the club and how gravitational forces work in the swing work… you should feel when the club wants to release. Easier when trying faster swings because it’s harder to hold the angle all the way through to finish.

Does it allow you to release the club head?
@harryshawgolf3 ай бұрын
@asiajake Great question! Yes, the ProSendr is designed to help with proper wrist mechanics, which can lead to a more controlled and effective release of the club head. It helps you feel the right positions throughout the swing, but it still allows for a natural release, which is the key. Hope this helps!
@johnathanwetherill4563 ай бұрын
Does it work with the driver or only irons ?
@harryshawgolf3 ай бұрын
It’ll be harder to do in stages with the driver however the same concept would apply for full swings… just changing the ball position to all for more of an ascending attack angle is all that’s needed to change (assuming face angle and club path are in good shape)

can you show it long long irons to driver please ?

I purchased ProSendr back in January and find it to be a big waste of money!!! I tried to find videos of how to use it properly and unless you pay them even more money for videos that they just talk most of the time you can't find many. And as the video shows just trying to put it on your wrist and use it is not that easy. I felt that only way you could make good contact was to have a very unnatural swing like the guy in this video. I have never seen any one swing club up to top like that then drop hands way down and Rotate. However after watching this video I will try again. Thanks for your time. I would suggest people really look into this training aid before they purchase. It cost me almost $425 by time I got it to Canada. Very disappointed 😢

@twisted13 Thanks for sharing your honest feedback! I’m really sorry to hear that you’ve had a tough experience with ProSendr so far, especially after such an investment. I agree, it can be tricky to get used to, and I think that’s why clear guidance is so important when using training aids like this. I’m glad my video has inspired you to give it another shot, and I hope you find it more useful on the next go! I completely understand your frustration. Thanks again for watching, and I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. If you need any more advise for this training aid or anything else, please let me know!

This is a helpful video. But, there is very little free ProSendr instructional content on KZbin. What’s there is more like infomercials. Like you say, to get info on how to use it properly or address issues you have with the results, you have to pay them for it. It’s not a good business model. Info and guidance helping a user to apply the aid effectively should be found in the free domain to some degree - but such info appears rare.

Not sure you want hold the angle through the finish that will rob you speed and height. The benefit of holding the angle is to let it got at the right time during the down swing, and not hold it through.
@harryshawgolf2 ай бұрын
@eJunkee thanks for commenting with your point. However if you don't exagerate this enough on the way through, hence the hold off. You wont do this enough when actually making proper swings.
