The eBuilt line of Clayton Homes come with a Rheem heat pump water heater, thicker insulation, vinyl double pain windows as standard. They also have a contract with Carrier and all their homes come standard with a single stage heat pump/ air conditioner that can be upgraded to a 2 stage compressor on the higher end models. I worked for a dealer when they started introducing these products, I hope this information can help any of your viewers when deciding on a home. The home in your video is called the "Bolt." Keep it up on the great videos!

The repairable fiberglass, I think if you dent it and and flake off the finish, you can buy a kit with fiberglass mesh and resin or whatever. I think also for stains, sand and polish.

Good afternoon Ronnie and Donnie, I have a fella that I watch and he goes all over videoing these homes some are set up some are like what you toured some are very nice inside but I asked the question that you were talking about price, value, depreciation and he still has not answered it yet. When I get the answer I’ll let you know. I don’t know about this one it just looks cheap. Imagine your kids open the master door and hit that glass shower door and it shatters. I like the homes that have the knee wall with glass around the top.

Nice home (apart from that horrible island), as big as my brick built house here in Ireland (might even be a bit bigger!😂)

I'm not sure how the trailer part works, I'm in middle Georgia, when I bought my mobile home (used) it had been moved at least 3 times before i bought it, it didnt have wheels or a tongue on it. The moving company couldn't get it on my property because it had been raining alot here, so they had to pull it up to our barn and let it sit until it got dry enough, well it sat up there for a month and the permit had expired, so we had to cut through the woods to get it down there because they needed the trailer to move another trailer. Anyway we got it on the property and they put it on blocks and pull the trailer out from under it. The reason i saying this is because i didnt want that tonge sticking out like i have seen others have. So apparently you can reuse the tralier part, since they needed it for another mobile home. While im writing a book here, I found this MH for $10,000 its a 98 14 x 70 2 bedroom 2 bath, it was totally striped, someone had started remodeling it, they had put ply wood flooring throughout, and klick klat wood flooring, all the cabinets were replaced with real cabinets even in the bathrooms with real cabinet tops (granit in the bathrooms) but no light fixtures or plumbing fixtures. So i think i got a good deal and i got to pick out my own lights and faucets! The only problem was the ducts for the air and heat had not been welding back.

You didn’t get a bad deal

My cousin have an almost 2 1/2 year old DR Horton stick built house & already having issues with her stick built house. Where as my cousin have a Clayton double wide a year older than the DR Horton stick built house & my cousin with the double wide haven't had any issues in her double wide compared, to my cousin with the DR Horton stick built house. You would really think that the Clayton double wide is the more newer house. Now my cousin is talking about selling her DR Horton stick built house, to purchase a Clayton house.....

There’s no quality in anything anymore so I can see how a manufactured home could possibly beat a stick built in some aspect

Figure out if you want metal or vinyl siding is the first step and then go to Lowe’s or Home Depot and buy start putting on it

They ain’t really “ mobile” anymore. Back in the day, we moved ours from south AL to Northern TN to another location in TN and sold it locally and those folks picked it up and moved it locally.

Those textured cabinets seal into themselves, any grease and or smoke that surrounds them. Very difficult to maintain clean. Also, these sinks are a joke. The way that I wash dishes requires no faucets directly above the said dishes, and how are they going to effectively wash and rinse while saving on water? It's all ridiculous. Tiny little things like shiny aluminum and two sinks that are literally going to cause major pipe issues, along with the huge showerhead not meant for mobile homes, must allow for people to believe they have quality when in fact they are wasting thier money. It's cheaper to rent and have a maintenance guy on board.
@meltysquirrel2919Ай бұрын
It's a shame that renters wreck properties and you have to account for that. Meanwhile the builders are value engineering the heck out of them. But still the value for money aint too bad and the new ones are nicer than the old ones from the 70s for sure! 😊
@mybrotherdonnieАй бұрын
They are getting a lot nicer

Well I'm a RENTER..and the property I RENT I treat it like gold...so don't judge all renters as people who trash peoples investments..some of us have respect for the people who own our houses..know us before you judge us!!! 🙄
@mybrotherdonnieАй бұрын
@ all renters are not bad we have good renters but you can’t bank on having a perfect one
@meltysquirrel2919Ай бұрын
@@naytch2003 Very true. Sorry, was just responding to what they said in the video. I probably shouldn't respond before I have my coffee. Good renters are a blessing for sure. On the other hand the bad ones can really make a mess. My wife cleaned houses before and I did some cleaning and painting of rentals before and it left us with some stories.
