Two serious faults:
1- Turning right and causing obstruction to oncoming traffic from the right.
2- Reversing into a bay without observation.
1- Turning right and causing obstruction to oncoming traffic from the right.
Ensure Clear Visibility:
Before turning right, check both directions carefully to ensure that there’s no oncoming traffic. Look for gaps and wait until it’s safe to proceed.
Timing the Turn: Don’t rush. Make sure you have enough time and space to complete the turn without forcing oncoming vehicles to slow down or swerve.
Positioning:
Position your vehicle correctly in your lane before turning, avoiding any hesitation that may confuse other drivers.
2- Reversing into a Bay Without Observation:
360-Degree Check:
Before reversing, make sure to check all your mirrors and look over your shoulder to spot any pedestrians or vehicles that might be in your blind spots.
Use Your Mirrors Effectively:
Rely on both side and rearview mirrors, but also physically look around to ensure nothing is in your way.
Move Slowly:
Reverse slowly so you can stop immediately if something unexpected comes into view.
