I came here around 10k subs during DaD. He then Skyrocketed to 15k with DaD. Since playing Dungeonborne, hes only got around 1600 subs compared to his 5000 from DaD. We have lost tons of great people from this community because they're just not interested in this Walmart Brand DaD. DaD gameplay to watch is better than Dungeonborne in my opinion. I hope he does a " variety " at least. Not just constant Dungeonborne.

@@user-mn8cs7of1b you can't only use mace and shield with a crossbow, it's hard countered by sword and shield + longsword. That's why I use it here

Maybe i should try this, ive been getting my ass kicked by legendaries a lot since clothos brought tons in and unfortunately ad a solo queue rype of fella i didnt get my flawless win for the freebie (came sooooo close at 6 several times) i keep telling myself its a skill issue, but hearing you even say getting gear checked and swearing youre good (which already thought you were lol) makes me feel WAYYYY better

Yeah classic mode can definitely have its own share of gear checking due to certain set bonuses being way too strong. Storm rage is one of them. It's been nice having 100% fair fights

I’ve been having a ton of fun with this game, I do quite well in my estimation too. 70% survive rate and a 4+ KD on basically all of my characters. However, there is a fatal flaw that is killing this game swiftly and violently. That is the matchmaking. I’ve tried only blues and greens, 15 GS, 25 GS. 25 GS with only blues and greens, 25 GS with anything. It just seems random. With the same loadout in solos I’ll get a lobby with 8 people. The next match will be me and one other. I’ve even gone from full lobbies to alone right after each other with the same 25 GS. Solos is bad but duos and trios are even worse. Most of the time we get nobody in our games. I’ve even had CLASSIC games with nobody in them. I thought the 25 GS worked in casual too but I have inspected people with 37 GS in my 25 GS lobbies. Last night me and my friends were doing 3s and could not find another group over 4 matches. 3 casual castle and one classic Sinners. We were all 24/25 GS with nothing higher than blue. It got so boring that we decided to try and match into each other in solos to see why they are not filling up lobbies. We tried 4 times and each time one of us would get a lobby with 5-6 people and the other me with 1-2. It makes absolutely no sense and we were so demoralized by the end we all quit playing and now I’m on this Deadlock grind. Iykyk. There’s very obviously something wrong with the matchmaking and improvements are desperately needed. As of now I’m done, between the matchmaking and the braindead balancing of LoH, Rogues, and DKs, it feels like a fools errand to waste more time in a game that’s nose diving into a non existent player base. If you disagree please let me know as I still hold a candle of hope for improvements.

One thing to point out here is you are complaining about 2 different matchmaking issues that are the cause of each other. Making strict GBMM where a 25 will only face other players in the 25 range will lead to lobbies that are empty or not full when there isnt enough players within that GS range. Prioritizing lobbies that are full means matchmaking will have to pull players from a wider range of GS this leads to people complaining about how they see someone in full purps when they are just greens and blues. The devs seem to be attempting to find a balance between full lobbies and balanced ones, unfortunately its not working great as players still complain about both issues

@@thejay2178 I don’t agree with GBMM. There’s no geared base matchmaking in Tarkov. If you’re a Timmy you get clapped by chads. But there’s still the ability to come up big when you’re the underdog and you take down a Timmy. The same is true here. There are players I’ve fought where I outclass them to such a degree it doesn’t matter what character and what gear they have I would win because I’m just better than them. If you’re going in with cheap gear there’s no risk really. The purple player has everything to lose and nothing to gain from fighting the green kit Andy. Thus the advantage is in their favor because of the gear. If you want to stop getting clapped by purple geared players. Wear purple gear. Then when you get clapped it’s a skill issue. Make entering classic a higher requirement. 30 GS at least so you need to at least bring some blues. The reason why I tried 25 GS was because of his video, which to be fair I’ve tried a lot of other things as well. Under ten, under 6, under 16, I thought at one point it wasn’t actually GS but item rarity so I stopped using purples, I even stopped using blues. Nothing seems to be consistent.

Yeah you're pretty much spot on other than one thing LOH got nerfed and you can counter it with true damage to attacker on block.
