Can i remind people this is marketed as an Off roader, as it would be if It was a petrol dirt bike. I took it to an empty industrial estate on a Sunday after the warehouses were closed for a reason as I didn’t have chance to take it to a proper off road track. As it states in the description.. Probably should of been a bit more clearer in the video.. Ride it on a public road at your own risk of being tugged by the Rozzers. Now then, KZbin Analytics states that close to 1,000 of my Subscribers came from my e-bike videos with my most popular and most viewed video being that featuring an e-bike. I have had countless messages and comments asking for more e-bikes to be shown on the channel and I get bombarded with offers from companies to feature e-bikes but have refused many but when this beast was offered I couldn't say no as I was really excited to try it out, and I know its 'not all about the money' but this bike is worth more than what I make working full time in a month, so for a 10 minute review video i'm going to accept that opportunity. I've had a fair few comments saying i'm promoting an illegal product but please let me remind you i'm fully aware this e-bike is not legal on UK Roads, it is marketed as an off-roader, and where I chose to ride it on a review is on me. Oh and HIKING and WILD CAMPING is the main focus of the channel. I just like to piss about on bikes from time to time. Why not.

I have the bike and love it . The only gripe I have is the battery in the front of the frame rattles a little . And I only get 18 miles out of the first battery , I am like you keeping the second battery as a back up . The chain seams a little to long as it slips some times , but apart from that I am very happy with the bike and would highly recommend. With the bike been so heavy it can be a little hard to peddle off from the start , but I find it easier to use the throttle for a second then just peddle assist once moving . This bike gives me a comfy ride a lot better then my old e-bike that this replaces .

Hi mate now i’ve used this long term I can agree with you.. however to fix the battery rattle, is slide in some rubber pads, ( think they were what you stick on bottom of table n chairs to stop them scratching floor ) and sort of pressed it the battery inside the frame and its stopped the rattle.

Good review, nice to have a Brit doing a review of this bike for a change..in the summer I wanted an M20 but they have sale issues with 2batteries so then I looked at X26 reviews,finally decided to spend my money on the Grey X24 3 days ago with the Bluetooth helmet and the rear case ( pity though it’s only in spoke wheel build ) bought pegs from Amazon

I bought one. Great looking bike and fun to ride with good range. Only downside it's heavy. Need special bike rack on car that takes wide tyres and weight. Cheapest I found costs 114 pounds and fits on a towbar

Ay up mate. I'm not really a bike person but that DOES look the bees knees and not a bad price for what it is and what it can do, you say you need to clear some space in the garage, sounds to me like you need to BUILD another garage, this is the third e-bike now ain't it ?😁 Looking forward to your video[s] of this 5 day adventure, you say your travelling by train, is this a european hike by any chance or is it TBA ? Anyway, I should imagine you don't have a lot of spare time between working, hiking and reviewing but any thoughts on merch for us mere mortals to purchase to support your channel, I notice your subs are starting to increase, I'm pretty sure it was just over 5k a couple of weeks ago and it's 6.1k now and climbing (pun intended) and I'd be surprised if I'm the only one waiting for a "Good Bloke Outdoors" tee shirt, sweat shirt, hoodie, hat, mug or whatever, I know it's time consuming but just a thought, keep safe, keep on trekking.🤘

Yo Liam, British law says 15.5 mph maximum on public roads with max output of 250 watts using pedal assist only (no twist throttle allowed)…..so that bike is way over the legal limit m8… I had a cyrusher e- bike with a massive 1500 watt motor boy could that bugger shift..stay safe buddy and keep on entertaining us all with your superb vloggs m8 😎👍

The product i’m promoting is not illegal.. just like if I was promoting a petrol dirt bike. Its the Riding it on UK public roads that is illegal. In hindsight I should of been a bit more clear in the video but I did explain in the description and pinned comment.

Clear as day in the description guys . Let’s all put our big boy/girl pants on and take this review for what it is . Honest and banging. I’d imagine it can also be registered to ride on the road with the appropriate license. As far as e-bikes go this is quite affordable. I ride 30 mile round trip 2-3 times a week but prefer leg power but all in all this seems a bit of a bargain
@mickd6942 Жыл бұрын
One question Liam did you buy it with your own money or did they send it to you for a review , I firmly believe you should own something and use it in all types of conditions for a good few months before you do a review on it and that you should have payed for it with your hard earned coin so there’s no bias .
@jamiemorgan4146 Жыл бұрын
The hell! Right... You’d turn one down if it was offers to you.. bollocks
@mickd6942 Жыл бұрын
@@jamiemorgan4146 I buy my own stuff , always have always will and I am not saying he should turn it down just make clear wether he bought it or got it free for review , you are much more likely to give an honest review if you bought it as there’s no pressure to give it a positive review to get more free stuff to review and anyway own it for at least a few months to see how it’s holding up or wether parts break , I do not for one minute doubt Liams integrity but a lot of channels turn into glorified shopping channels on a merry go round of free stuff good review free stuff good review , a paid for promotion is different to a review .

You’l find a lot of people can actually be more biased when they’v parted with their hard earned money as they don’t want to admit to themselves they’v bought a load of shite. Yes this was sent to me mate, unfortunately i’m not in a position to turn down a bike worth £1800 its more than i earn working full time in a month and more than i’ve got this year from KZbin ad revenue. Its not all about the money, I just want to be out in the mountains but i’m not in a position to turn this down for a 10 minute video. Hope that kind of makes sense mate.

@@GoodBlokeOutdoors it does , like I said I’ve never doubted your morals but it is a good idea to clarify how you got it , personally 1000 watts is over kill for me but you can never have too big a number of amp hours in your battery , I ride for maximum range not power , the people I see with 1000 watts + are wizzing round the roads with balaclavas on , I am certainly not saying you should have turned it down just say yes but it will be an honest review and wether it’s good or bad depends entirely on the product and how it performs, saying how you got it giving it a thumbs up or saying it’s a bag of shite if it is is the way to go with reviews , trouble is a lot of KZbinrs have trouble with pointing out the bag of shite bit lol and act more like carol vaudaman trying to sell a dodgy loan .

Unfortunately, it has been an illegal bicycle in Europe since January 2024. The new European regulations classify it as a "motor cycle", and it is not approved to be registered as such. If the Police or Civil Guard catch you with it, the fine is heavy, because even if you limit it to 25 km/h, the motor is still 1000 W, and it weighs more than 40 kg. Look for the regulations, it is easy to find.

Liam buddy, I love your content, it's become a go to youtube channel for both kit advise and entertainment. For me and the missus. But dude.. This video looks like an advert for a bike that is illegal to ride on UK roads. Too powerful, too fast and throttled, you need a bike licence, and it needs to hav reg plates... become with those spec it IS an e-moto-bike and not an e-bike. Wow... that whole thing sounded like my dad speaking.. so ashamed.

Nice bike. I recommend running both batteries at the same time though, so that it is one big battery running the same charge and discharge cycles. Running them together like this in parralel will pull less amp draw from each individual battery while both batteries are contributing, puts less stress on them. Giving you a slower degrading battery. And you'll have less voltage drop. Being in parralel they will also always be at the same state of charge. Lithium iron cells also can have a shelf life, so you rnt really saving it buy not using the bigger one, it also isn't good to have a battery just sitting waiting at full charge.
@GoodBlokeOutdoors Жыл бұрын
Thanks Gareth, appreciate the advice and i’ll certainly take it on board and run both batteries at the same time 👍🏼
@Subscriptionexperiment Жыл бұрын
No problem. Something else that can help with battery health, unless you are going to go for a long ride, charging it up to 80% and try not draining it under 20% will give 2 to 3 times more charge cycles.

Useful info! I have the x26. And if I run it full electric (throttle only) at max assistance it goes pretty quick. I can see the % going down quite quickly. Now learning to regulate it. You can also personalize the power in the settings. Beast of a bike I love it! ❤ Nice video man
@mickd6942 Жыл бұрын
At least pretend to pedal or the police will take it off you , I’ve owned an E bike with a throttle for four years and I’ve cycled past loads of police and never been stopped because I pedalled, my bike is 350 watt with a 23 AH battery and 14 inch wheels , lastly treat all manufacturers stated mileage as bull crap as it usually is well over the actual mileage , the best way is ride it over variable ground with some decent hills until your on one bar then you’ll know for sure .
