@@Fyrefly26710 do you have something called, dyslexia? If so,then that makes you not able to say certain words properly. My friend has dyslexia,and she gets a lot of words mixed up. You have to say something in a sentence for her to say the word correctly,but I never understood why she would break up her words into syllables sometimes. I guess some people just get that kind of disorder,which isn’t fair.

The advice that helped me with school presentations is that no one cares. People who didn't present yet are nervous about their own presentations while those who presented already are zoned out. No one is actually paying attention.
@tujp75128 ай бұрын
trust me, people care. and I feel like most times people give advises as “no one cares, they’re all too busy focusing on themselves” blah blah blah. the advice shouldn’t be that no one cares, the advice should be that okay people care, but so what? don’t care that people care. I pay attention, at,east after i have presented, otherwise i’d be nervous like hell😂
@Jykesonville5 ай бұрын
@@tujp7512 Well, people don’t REALLY care. If within a few hours you can forget something even happened, you didn’t care that much, and most people don’t think about some random guy’s presentation for more than 10 minutes after it ends.

Tips that helped me deliver my graduation speech when I was anxious (scared to death) about it: 1: Meditate for 10 min every day 2: Give yourself positive affirmations leading up to the presentation 3: Use breathing exercises to calm your heart rate and clear your mind 4: Find the time to completely relax your body and mind so that you are able to do this in any situation 5: Practice the presentation as many times as possible before you deliver it unless it creates more stress 6: Believe that there are people who support and love you, because it is true 7: Accept the possibility of failure, and think of it as a learning opportunity, no matter how scared you are of it Try these tips out and I wish you the best of luck

I have to give a presentation and this makes sense. I’ll focus just on the profesor. And in between segments I’ll glance elsewhere. I’ll give you an update when it’s done. This is actually my second time doing it because the first time I got overwhelmed with 30 people staring at me- started crying and ran away. Dramatic, right? Edit: so I started doing this and focused on the middle of the audience where my profesor was. It worked, actually. Then my eyes started to wonder and I panicked again. But overall, I think focusing on 3 or 4 people you feel comfortable with works! You just have to discipline yourself and keep doing it. I passed by the way.
